I have received great compliments on Figment Man, even from someone standing in a lift with me lol. May not be "crowd-pleasing" but also don't underestimate some people's noses. They do appreciate uniqueness too.
Also have gotten a few compliments from people saying you smell very “Fresh”

Figment man is the best photorealistic geosmin, petrichor fragrance, lots of sandalwood vetiver in the middle and base that blends with the geranium from the top, the animalics are very tame, unless you're a newborn to niche. when i mean photorealistic, i mean it, it's very earthy the best to walk i nature in Fall. Not your generic nice sweet thing. exceptional work, it makes me think of wet stones in the woods and soil, so so pure, nothing out of place to make it mainstream, just a pure petrichor smell.
Luckily I got a small sample of it as one of my friend's was selling it to me for a very cheap price of 80 dollars for a 100ml. But unfortunately I found out why he was selling it cheap I guess you could get conpiments but majority of people around you would think you smell weird or even smell bad. I like unique scents but this is too unique lol. Love your vids BTW.
Just blind bought it. A tester for 120 euros, quite a bargain. It's my third Amouage, i have Reflection and Meander, hoping to get more in the near future.
I believe Annick Ménardo is the perfumer according to a few sources. Cheers man.

Figment is a very artistic fragrance... I have worn it out but I'll be honest I was a bit uncomfortable doing so... ^_^ I have worn it in my home plenty but I mean you smell like the earth when you have this on... It almost makes me feel like a mole person... LOL!!! I really enjoy this fragrance but I don't think others around you would understand it which is the whole artistic vs. wearable debate... Great review sir...

The note breakdown intrigued me since I’m a huge fan of Animalic fragrances! Have you tried Figment Man or Woman?
Would love to hear your take on Myths Man. I haven’t tried it, but your review on Figment Man has me tempted to buy it. Can get 100ml for just over £100 in the UK at the moment.
Myths man is a beast mode i was lucky to have gotten 50ml for a massive discount price of less than $40

I’d recommend Night Flyer from Olympic Orchids. It’s the same perfumer as the OG Bat who took the formula when Zoologist reformulated and brought it to her brand. I prefer it to Figment because after a while of wear the animal notes start to get to me. Night Flyer removes that and adds a fruity sweetness.
It smells like a moldy and damp castle, earthy and rainy. If you use this perfume, you will look like the undertaker...!!!!

Yeah, it’s a very daring fragrance not for everybody! I’ve even been told it smells like mold when I’ve worn it lol it’s more of a work of art than anything!
