My husband and I were on this cruise too. We had an amazing time, loved the ship, crew, shows & the food. No complaints here. So sorry you were ill. My husband had cold symptoms for a day, stayed in bed. I went to dinner that evening, our servers asked for him, and so I told them he was a little under the weather. The head server immediately ordered chicken soup, an entire dinner, and a pitcher of hot water with assorted teas to be brought to the cabin when I returned. I was pleasantly surprised and grateful. They escorted me back to the cabin so I didn’t have to carry anything. I was recovering from foot surgery & still using a cane so every restaurant I entered I was taken by the arm to our table. My husband got such a laugh as the servers catered to me! I can’t say enough good things about the cruise and the ship. We loved it & will definitely sail on the Dream again.
Oh my goodness, that's just wonderful! I have generally found Disney crewmembers to go above and beyond like that, across-the-board. So glad you had a wonderful experience. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Wow what a great video. You were consise clear and entertaining. Ive wanted to take a transatlantic, especially on Disney, because it is so expensive. When you cosider a 4 day in the Wish or 13 days on Dream. The only thing i wished for more was description and taste of food. Youre very brave for going solo, especially when you have to pay double. Thank you for all your thoughts and presentation Sorry you got so ill on your cruise butat leadt it was 13 days. 🎉
Thank you so much. I do struggle with the food parts of my video. I had Covid a few years ago and permanently lost much of my sense of taste and smell. So only some foods have noticeable good flavor to me and I don't always know what to say about the others. I will try to put a little more thought into those parts. Food is an important part of the ship experience! I agree about the expense. I would cruise Disney more often if they were more affordable. They are definitely a unique experience. So fun. Thank you for watching and commenting!
So sorry you got noro! We got it on the Disney Wish last month. About 80 people got it according to our fb group and struggled to get off the boat. It sucked since we missed”half” the trip (3day trip) we are alittle worried no for our next cruise but I’m a sucker for punishment because I booked my place holder during our sick episode lol
I did 15 cruises with DCL...got sick once in the last night.........yeap not fun.....but you know s..t happens right ! DCL is for sure on of the best clean ships round there.....sanitizing wipes for hands everywhere...and very clean bathrooms...... but virus in general are faster that you can image....Do not be afraid to do more DCL cruises...that is what I can reply to you.
New sub here! Do you recommend a certain line or ship for a 1st time solo cruise? I didn’t see a video specifically addressing solo cabins on different cruise lines… What Disney ship do you recommend for a solo female new to Disney? TY:))
Thank you for subscribing! I have only experienced a soli cabin once--on Celebrity Ascent. My other solo trips have been in standard sized cabins. I love cruising Disney!! You can't go wrong with their ships. My favorite is the Wonder, but Magic is a close second! I haven't been on the Wish, but it looks beautiful. So fun to see those amazing Disney shows and wander the ship, do a little shopping! Lots of Disney merch on board! You will enjoy great service, too!

Yes--I get it! I'm afraid of getting it again but that's not going to stop me from cruising! Good luck!
