My son loves to watch your restorations! He requests a video where we see all of your restored trains running, please :) Thanks for the great work you do- it is very inspiring!
I'm in my second childhood for the third time and I guess working on a 4th. Your Restorations are amazing you end up with beautiful toys that come to life once again.
Close-ups, magic instant disassembly, multi-framed cleaning, a Terrot motorcycle as a tease...and the figurine witness. Great cinema to accompany the skilled craftsman.
You have outdone yourself with this restoration. The end result was excellent. As an aside, I'm amazed by the designs and the number of parts in these old models, something that we no longer see in the combinations of plastic and electronic chips that are supposed to be toys today. Congratulations for developing our interest in "winding back the clock" to the way things used to be.
I have watched all of the restorations so far and I applaud 👏 the skill, patience, time, and dedication with all of your projects. I salute you sir. Well done.
I was hoping to see more trains again. I am amazed how you have progressed with them - especially with the wheel removal tool! I like your other restorations, but the trains are really unique on RUclips and the little vintage crewmen with them bring them to life even more.
Absolutely wonderful restoration! Your attention to detail and the love with which you bring these toys back to life. One has to admire the craftsmen of yester-year that manufactured these toys.. compared to the "plastic" rubbish of modern society.. You are a craftsman! Thank you for sharing your skill with us. Regards from South Africa
@@vicferrari9380 Toys hold no more meaning today. Because they can be done cheaper and way more stupid than before, because children today are stupid. And that stupidity is what fuels today society. Children have always been the fuel of society. They don't care about quality, they just want things as stupid as it can so that they can be fooled with them and use them as long as we want, for those are our life sources. Is because of them why companies have lost their touch
There are many that still do - it's just that those that take pride in what they do have to charge a lot more for their products since it takes a lot more effort.
@Jackson Holloman that's kind of what I came in to say, it's not through the fault of the workers that popular toys have no pride in them, it's just the way things are now. People don't even make toys a lot of the time anymore, they just run the machines that make the toys
You did an amazing job restoring that "Prewar Train." Brilliant!!! I noticed when you were disassembling the loco's motor the wiring and the bulb wasn't "period." Someone must have tinkered with the train earlier. But you my friend not only brought back to life..."You have given it a pulse!" Magnificent!!!
Вот и ещё один локомотив отреставрирован. Теперь он выглядит как новый и ездит по рельсам. Спасибо 🙏 вам огромное, за ваши золотые руки. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Le plus beau de tous! L'engin lui-même, bien entendu, mais aussi des moments d'intense beauté - les billes de verre, et l'écran multiple, et les effets chimiques... Merci Fabric! Tom (Annecy 74 et Clessé 71)
Idk about anyone else but when I watch videos like these, I like to play this little game called "what's the cleanest shiny spot on the object before being restored"
I get lost down the rabbit hole watching these videos at night. Not only is the restoration incredibly impressive but you can't help but wonder about the historical aspect of it all. The design, engineering, and production of the train. What might it have cost and how many were made? You wonder about how it may have been a gift to a small child, and how they're likely no longer with us. You think of how many items like this were lost to history, and marvel at its renewed life thanks to your remarkable restoration skills. I watch this and am filled with a sense of both loss and hope. Incredible work.
Fab Job giving this swiss style loco a new lease of life,The way it looked before was sad to see but the After look is awesome and Beautiful ❤A Masterful job but wow so many wee fiddly parts that needed Derusting to the working parts ,Kudos Cute figurines 😆❤️❤️❤️
G’day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 well what can I say but an unbelievable restoration it’s always terrific to see the processes that you go through to restore an item. This one is great, kind regards John
Bonjour The Fabrik Encore une très belle restauration, vu l'état de départ, ce n'était pas gagné ! Merci pour ces vidéos à la fois inspirantes et relaxantes !
I really enjoy your restorations. If I may propose, that you consider sponge blasting, instead of electrolysis and scraping, on thin and delicate materials. Also diluted rust remover might be helpful in the beginning, as far as loosening stuck rusted parts is concerned. Finally I would definitely recommend powder coating instead of an airbrush, for a far superior aesthetically result! :)
Hi Nikos and thanks a lot for watching and also commenting ! The metal sheet is so thin, sandblasting really hurts the metal. Regarding the powder coating painting, don’t you think it will be too tick ? I’m afraid it will cover the labels... I should try.
@@TheFabrik as far as powder coating is concerned I know there are various types and sizes of powder particles that produce either thicker or thinner paint layers. I have witnessed the results of sponge blasting, on very thin pieces of metal with great results, maybe it is worth you giving it a try... Great video nonetheless!

I just recently found your channel; i've been watching your videos every night before sleeping, and they're both relaxing and super interesting. Lovely way to end the day 😊
All I can say is that you are incredible, very meticulous at your work and you deserve very high ratings. You must have started at an early age to become what you are today! What got you started?
Thank You for these amazing videos! I have two 5 and 2 years old boys, both of them watches your restorations with eyes wide opened, and cheering and wooing everytime some really nasty stuff is cleaned or beautifully polished, repainted and in the end repaired. Meanwhile both of them learn a lot about tool usage and the beauty and importance of hard, precise and in the end rewarding manual labour. Your artisan level of craftmanship is inspiring them, sometimes the elder one mentions your videos out of thin air even days later, "remember daddy how that guy repaired that poor old rusty wrecked train with the sandblaster? Could we watch it later again?" Finally a channel I can safely let them watch anytime as it's really safe, teaches valuables, builds their character and not feeding their brain with audiovisual fast food bullshit.
TOP work for another time !!the result is amazing and also the way you are working and filming the process .
keep up the good work !!👍

I'm always taken aback from how many parts are needed for something like this and that someone had to design it.
Seeing breakdown and rusty toy train restored always bright my day 😍
those days where toy makers actually took pride in the toys they've built.
They did the best they could with their technology. Before plastic made everything cheep and throw away.
