HAWLEY. You, sir are the man. Buy that senator a beer. I know it's his job and finally a senator is doing their job, but THANK GOODNESS one of them is.
He does this every week, and nothing is done.
Although it's great to see the vile CEO being verbally confronted with his evil deeds, nothing ever happens to the perpetrators. He still gets his golden parachute and hyper-comfortable retirement with no consequences of any kind. The banksters who caused the banking collapse in 2008-2009 have faced zero consequences. Many enjoyed huge bonuses AFTER the bank failures that they caused. Those bonuses came from taxpayer money that was used to bail them out because they were "too big to fail." If the crimes are large enough, the criminals usually go free.
Calhoun can retire today knowing he is criminally liable yet he sleeps well at night. PUT HIM AND THE MANAGEMENT TEAM IN JAIL!!!
