Thank you for showing Lydia Gorbik, she was so graceful and the film I am used to looking at was so washed out but grateful to have it. Would like to see more of Gorbik with clearer film. Appreciate you montages.
I just remembered which move I dislike almost as much as the wolf turn, lol. This is great. So many amazing gymnasts over the years, too bad more of them aren't household names.
To me, the Soviets don't get enough credit in gymnastics for creating skills. i mean, like today we see the Chinese doing all these crazy skills, but then i watched this video and i saw all of the skills that the chinese do. and people think that the chinese were the mastermines of gymnastics when the Soviets really were
Wish beam still looked like this..
Thanks for the lovely montage

4:59 - perfection! Best triple twist I've ever seen on any apparatus!
Olga Mostepanova: my favourite beam worker of all time.

There's a lot of footage I had never seen before... loved 2:02!
That side aerial with two handspring stepouts near the beginning was sooooo pretty.

absolutely loved their beam work. Just flowed together so well
Absolutly wonderful. They were quite the "beamers". I love your videos.
