The sparkly glitter looks so good! I think it would look really good the asian style of glitter placement where it is in the center of the lid and blended above the crease a bit! With a really no budge formula you wouldn’t have to worry about anything messing with your crease!

Leaving a second comment because I think they’re leaving those lighter shades out of palettes because of all those ppl who B so hard about them being in the palettes, they said who doesn’t have these shades a thousand times over in other palettes just go grab one of them to use stop putting them in palettes. I honestly believe that’s why we are seeing why less light blender shades in palettes.
I love Bailey and I'd get the palette because I love me some mattes and the shades are gorgeous, but I don't wanna spend $58 on an eyeshadow palette. That's why I've never bought more from Melt. I hate spending over $40ish for eyeshadow palettes. I have the Gemini palette and honestly it's not worth the $58 (it's on sale right now, of course). I dunno. I guess I'll admire it from afar. I also think it's kinda weird the bag is cheaper than the palette.
If only TJ Maxx/Marshalls got Melt old stock because I KNOW they have a decent amount simply due to the variability in quality that keeps a lot of people from purchasing
I have purchased several Melt palettes off Mercari (I only buy from reputable sellers, that have unused, new in box palettes) and I have had great success with getting them for 25-30$ on there instead.
I don't like chunky glitters on my smaller, hooded eyes either, but I will say that in the video the chunkier glitter looks amazing on you! I think it's harder to judge them when you're looking at them up close.
I usually don't like them either for the same reasons. But I've used this boomslang one 3x already over just a plain cat eye winged liner made with gel cream liners. Both in black and dark green for holiday parties and it looks really good. I saw nothing acid green about it though. Not even in the container. Looks totally gold to me. But try a chunky one over your liner when you know it's not gonna show much on your lid. It's the only way I can get away with wearing them.
The Grunge Bog Witch is aspirational. If you are into a grunge look, it doesn’t matter what season you wear it. The blue stains are concerning if you only want to be a part time or occasional Bog Witch. I am very tempted by this palette…the other pieces, not so much.

I could be wrong, but I thought I heard Bailey say the lightest shade was meant to be mixed with the darker shades. Obviously, if you can pull it off, wear the dark shades on their own. But if they’re too dark, use that light pink shade to change the color up that way it fits you better.
I think while you aren't a fan of the Boomslang glitter topper, you have to agree that it looks fuck!ng fantastic on you, especially paired with those mattes. The Wisteria topper however, I didn't realise you were wearing it until you pointed it out xx

Not to start the hate train (who am I kidding lol) but I do not understand how Melt has been around for so long and still can't get their shit together in terms of consistent, high quality products. Like there are baby Indie brands that have that sorted within a year or two. Due to the variablilty alone I think melt overcharges $10-15 for their palettes. I'm so glad to hear that your eyes eventually felt better, that must've been both painful and terrifying!

I have come to terms with the fact that my deep shadow days are behind me 🥲 Being super pale, with hooded ageing eyelids and the oily skin...dark colours transfer all over my face 🙈😆 Doesn't matter which formula (ND, Lethal, Oden's, Kaleidos, Sigma, Huda, Viseart or so many more). I get the Line Of Baldness in my crease. It ain't pretty! Lighter colours are SO much more forgiving and the Baldness less visible. Satins are the best! They stay in place for the most part. I also avoid deep lip shades for similar reasons as yourself. So, much as I love Bailey, I'll admire her collab from afar.

Anotther review I watched on this palette mentioned that the blue shade stained. That might be what you're experiencing on your hands from swatching :) If I still did one & done matte eyes I would be all over this palette. Kind of wish they'd released Gemini as an all matte palette with the option to add shimmer cream gels. It was my favorite neutral palette until it went bad :(

OMG I absolutely love this entire collection! Both of your looks are beautiful. I thought the lipsticks were mini at first too, but they have the same amount of product as the bigger bullets that were used to. The eye gels for me burned in the beginning, but went away as soon as it dried. The liquid lipsticks are amazing too. I'd love your feedback on mine if you get a chance ❤.
And my question is how are you able to use the gel eye Liners in your Waterline? I tried putting Nightshade and I almost ruined everything because my eyes just started watering. No color was deposited in my waterline

I am having the same problem with eyeshadow palettes not having a light matte to blend close to my skin tone. I finally gave up and made myself a little build your own palette from MAC.
OMG! The one that felt like cement! I haven't used very much from this collection yet, but I have been using the boomslang over my gel liner for a couple holiday gatherings and luckily I haven't had any of the burning thank God, but since they were having a sale when my bf ordered this set for my bday, he threw in like 3 of the $5 lipsticks in colors he liked (all ultra mattes also) and the one I've tried so far- Belladonna 2 felt like cement! I was thinking it was like old stock and that's why it felt dried out and was on sale, but with your absolutely new shade feeling that way too I'm wondering if some pigments just make them feel this way? I was so bummed that it felt that way bc it's a gorgeous blue based cherry red that I would wear so much more often if it didn't feel like that and make me feel like I had crypt keeper lips all day. I was also pretty bummed that she didn't include the liquid lipsticks in the collection. When a man thinks he's buying the whole collection, he doesn't expect anything to be left out. I haven't even swatched the palette yet but upon opening there were blue crumbles falling all over me and I noticed it's from the plaid pattern stamped into them it's like falling off in the places that pattern is really small on quite a few of the shades, so while her whole plaid aesthetic is cool and all, I don't think it did the palette any good.
Idk if they change the packaging for the lipsticks because in other video they had a bigger ones, but the ones i had been received in mystery boxes are from the same size except for the halloween and Christmas town collections. Also, i barely received my order because the first one never arrived, so i opened my lipsticks, and one literally separated from the tube. It didn't break at all, just detached, buuuuuut the formula was very soft, idk if they were exposed to some heat or something, but they didn't feel rough like the others that I had.
I was so tempted to get the whole collection on day one, but I would only be using two of the lipsticks and the palette. Everything else I knew I wouldn't even try out. I did get the eyeshadow palette and one of the lipsticks, Nutmeg, and I'm so excited for them to arrive. Now I am wishing I would've gotten the bag too, but it's not something I would use a lot of either.
I am so excited to get this. I have heard from several other influencers that they wish it had one lighter color. But my grungy heart is jumping with joy!❤
Ok, Theresa, I also have super sensitive eyes and I wear hard contact lenses (rgp lenses rattle just like glass 😶) but I keep loving the sparkle. So, here's what ya do - you get some nyx mixing medium and pot some on a palette and put your glitter of choice within days mixing medium and...yeah, you know what's coming... Mix it up until you have a texture that's less scary. Then you take that mixture on a dense packing style brush and tippity tap that stuff where you want some sparkle. The mixing medium keeps that stuff from dropping all over and migrating into our eyes. I hope you see this and I hope it works and I hope i find out!!

I just watched Glitter Fallout’s eyeshadow palette declutter and she found mould growing on one of the shimmers in her Gemini 2!

You are NOT exaggerating with the mysophonia. I am relieved to know im not the only one who can literally feel their blood boil when i hear repetitive sounds. Even if thr person has absolutely no control over it. I have even LESS control over my rage at hearing them 😂
Omg! My people! I have had it before anyone knew what it was. I feel so terrible because I would freak out when people crunch ice, or bang their fingers typing on a keyboard-I always thought I was crazy but I’m not! I get so angry at those sounds!

Anotther review I watched on this palette mentioned that the blue shade stained. That might be what you're experiencing on your hands from swatching :) If I still did one & done matte eyes I would be all over this palette. Kind of wish they'd released Gemini as an all matte palette with the option to add shimmer cream gels. It was my favorite neutral palette until it went bad :(

OMG I absolutely love this entire collection! Both of your looks are beautiful. I thought the lipsticks were mini at first too, but they have the same amount of product as the bigger bullets that were used to. The eye gels for me burned in the beginning, but went away as soon as it dried. The liquid lipsticks are amazing too.

Wondering if I'm doing it wrong lol. 🤔 I put it on my liner brush and put it in the waterline. And then my eyes completely watered up and washed it away. I was hoping to use these for that purpose. I'm still trying to figure out makeup 🤷♀️😂

I also have mesifonia (probably not how it's spelled) I have incredible hearing and smell. Certain sounds cause me actual literal pain. My bf thinks I'm nuts. 😂 maybe I am a little. At least I'm not alone. My beautiful garbage queen and birthday twin also struggles. Lol.❤

I am having the same problem with eyeshadow palettes not having a light matte to blend close to my skin tone. I finally gave up and made myself a little build your own palette from MAC.

OMG! The one that felt like cement! I haven't used very much from this collection yet, but I have been using the boomslang over my gel liner for a couple holiday gatherings and luckily I haven't had any of the burning thank God, but since they were having a sale when my bf ordered this set for my bday, he threw in like 3 of the $5 lipsticks in colors he liked (all ultra mattes also) and the one I've tried so far- Belladonna 2 felt like cement! I was thinking it was like old stock and that's why it felt dried out and was on sale, but with your absolutely new shade feeling that way too I'm wondering if some pigments just make them feel this way? I was so bummed that it felt that way bc it's a gorgeous blue based cherry red that I would wear so much more often if it didn't feel like that and make me feel like I had crypt keeper lips all day. I was also pretty bummed that she didn't include the liquid lipsticks in the collection. When a man thinks he's buying the whole collection, he doesn't expect anything to be left out. I haven't even swatched the palette yet but upon opening there were blue crumbles falling all over me and I noticed it's from the plaid pattern stamped into them it's like falling off in the places that pattern is really small on quite a few of the shades, so while her whole plaid aesthetic is cool and all, I don't think it did the palette any good.

Idk if they change the packaging for the lipsticks because in other video they had a bigger ones, but the ones i had been received in mystery boxes are from the same size except for the halloween and Christmas town collections. Also, i barely received my order because the first one never arrived, so i opened my lipsticks, and one literally separated from the tube. It didn't break at all, just detached, buuuuuut the formula was very soft, idk if they were exposed to some heat or something, but they didn't feel rough like the others that I had.

I was so tempted to get the whole collection on day one, but I would only be using two of the lipsticks and the palette. Everything else I knew I wouldn't even try out. I did get the eyeshadow palette and one of the lipsticks, Nutmeg, and I'm so excited for them to arrive.
Now I am wishing I would've gotten the bag too, but it's not something I would use a lot of either.

Ok, Theresa, I also have super sensitive eyes and I wear hard contact lenses (rgp lenses rattle just like glass 😶) but I keep loving the sparkle. So, here's what ya do - you get some nyx mixing medium and pot some on a palette and put your glitter of choice within days mixing medium and...yeah, you know what's coming... Mix it up until you have a texture that's less scary. Then you take that mixture on a dense packing style brush and tippity tap that stuff where you want some sparkle.
The mixing medium keeps that stuff from dropping all over and migrating into our eyes.
I hope you see this and I hope it works and I hope i find out!!

I love make up bags too. I collect them. And this year I had to Declutter and let some go. You make me laugh and the green shadow on you was beautiful despite how you feel about it. I really laughed about the sounds. People who make repetitive sounds annoy me as well especially sniffling and sucking in snot oh my god that pisses me off. 😂Thanks for sharing.
