That Tower 28 blush really grossed me out while also sparking my scientific interest. I'd keep it under a dome just to write a scientific essay about what grows from it XD

That blush is a representation of why we need preservatives in makeup. That's one of the worst crimes of clean beauty.

If you ever want to do a declutter where you go through all of your blushes and also showcase the ones you love and want to keep, I'll be here for it.... I just like seeing all the products, and I like seeing ones that get good reviews too. That's kind of the beauty of the declutter; they're like speed reviews. So I appreciate the good and the bad!

Just wanted to say that those little beads on the Tower 28 blush were either wax bloom or mold. Wax bloom is usually saf while mold is dangerous. If you couldn't tell which it was though probably better than you threw it out😂
I had to throw away 4 Tower 28 blushes that were growing fuzzy mold and smelled bad! They were less than a year old! Will not purchase from that brand again
I checked my Tower 28 blushes after watching your video and OMG. The same thing happened to mine 😂 right in the trash!

The only person I've seen rock yellow blush is a Scottish content creator Makemeupmissa and it looks great on her. She's insanely talented at eyelooks too. I'm not even brave enough to try yellow blush in the privacy of my own home.
So I looked on reddit about Tower 28 and one woman had a blush go like this and her clear lipgloss with yellow sparkle had turned neon yellow! At least it warns you it's gone off! They were around a year old which is how long Tower 28 say they will last. Personally I prefer my makeup to have some preservatives as I hate these weird science experiments, oh and according to people on the web different colours last different amounts of time, some only 6 months. Apparently it is wax bloom and it will be fine if you just mix it all back in but it's a no from me! * I'm also a weirdo and would have touched it!
I have the more orange cream blush from them, it’s about to be 3 yrs old… 😳and it still looks fine and doesn’t smell weird or anything. But I know i should just let go of it and buy it again if I rly miss it.
@@Clemonade23BX yours is the real experiment then, why hasn't it gone off when it doesn't have a lot of preservatives in it? Weird!
I'm convinced that some of these clean beauty brands aren't listing shelf life for after opening, but for right after the products get sealed up during production 🙄

I love your "hands" videos (that sounds too weird, I'm sorry 😂) and declutter videos will forever be my favorite!!
My hands get GNARLY in winter (isn't it fun having skin with the same general moisture content as a sand dune?) and my sister who runs her own spa salon told me this little "treatment" for dry skin. It's my favourite home spa treatment because it has a built in nap;
Use a scrub on your hands, I use a salt scrub
Add oil to cuticles
Cover hands in a really fatty cream (a bit more than you would generally use, you don't want all of it to sink in straight away)
Cover the hands in plastic bags to promote occlusion (but she has not explained what that means 😂)
Take half an hour nap with bags in place
Take bags off and wipe off any excess cream
Done! Hands now nice and soft.

I've had wax bloom on cream products before (Salt New York blushes, especially) and it was NOT chunky like that. It was a thin, pale shell over the top - literally just the wax separating out of the product, and it would slide right off after a little warmth or friction. I guess it's still possible for it to be wax, but if it's a well-blended product, why would it separate so unevenly? I vote mold on that one.
Wax bloom is pretty fixable on products that have preservatives. Clean beauty products tend to mold easy and be hard to fix imo.
I've had a sinus headache for most of the day, and seeing a Theresa video has made my day.

My tower28 blushes did that too. Went right in the trash.

I'm slowly whittling my singles collection (not my specials. I have a single palette of specials and they stay). Mainly had Lethal mattes left over, that I got maybe 5 or 6 years ago and I've since found similar shades in my Viseart palettes. Kept the pastel cool yellow, bright spring green and a shade of summer sky blue, as I don't have dupes elsewhere. The rest had a great run but are showing their age. Have Lethal shimmers in with my specials (they are special to me. I love their complete lack of rouge sparkles and their colour payoff), so now I have one palette of non Lethal specials and a Lethal palette with three favoured mattes. Pretty happy about this tiny, curated singles collection.
I love the Surratt The Dew Drop Foundation Michele Wang got me on. It's the only thing I've tried from them. Now she's got me wanting to get the new matching concealer.
Me too! I love that stuff! Makes my skin look like flawless velvet and just a tiny bit does a whole face! Very similar to the Rituel de Fil 3 drop one. Love them both! ❤ 👍

(I have two blush shades and I believe that liquid blush may be my new favourite thing so yeah there's that.
So my brand new Tower 23 blush (same color) showed up very similar to that so I never bought another one despite the hype.
all of my tower 28 products went bad really quickly lipglosses changed color and my blushes and bronzers were beading and changing colors (part of the pan was darker than the other side). I still want to try the mascara and foundation and concealer though because I'm a glutton for regrets.
My cream blushes smell like play doh and one is less then a year old. I love their lip glosses but they go bad way too fast. Very disappointing

I’m kinda surprised about the uterus blushes from Kaleidos. Joyride from the collection before is an all time favorite for sculpting my face.

2023 was really awful. I concur wholeheartedly. I'm now cleaning out my apartment that I've hated for years in order to move. Hopefully to somewhere I love. But yeah, time to get rid of all the shit!

Omg im so jealous of your nails theyre so pretty! My nails are suddenly super weird and have these tiny dents in them to the point where my nails have the texture of a strawberry without its seeds. Im too scared to paint them😂 i cant stop staring at your nails
Have you been ill recently or under a lot of stress? That can cause your nails to grow a bit weird. Doctors noticed in the UK that people who had suffered very badly with covid would get like a horizontal line on their nails where their body wasn't working properly and then the nail would go back to normal afterwards so they had to wait for it to grow out. If your nails are strong enough then you can use a hand buffing tool to make them smooth again. They're usually very cheap. Every year before Christmas all my nails snap off, I don't know if it's the change to cold weather or the stress of getting ready for Christmas when you're disabled but my nails always end up a wreck. On the upside they are all the same length 🤣🤣
@shendisackett no these aren't dents that you can buff out. My nail would be gone if I tried doing that. If you Google "small dents in nail" you can see what I'm talking about, but my nails look quite a lot worse than what I've found on Google. I think it might be because of my eczema, but I haven't asked a dr, so im not sure. And im disabled from a handful of chronic conditions and always stressed, but I have been dealing with more health issues than normal lately🤷♀️ my body freaking hates me I swear it does everything it can to make things harder🤣
@@AKbaby89 I don't know what it is with some of us, the older I get the more diagnoses I seem to be getting. I managed 2 more this year, one pretty scary. I wonder if it's because we're disabled and have way more medical tests than normal people that they find things that others have but don't know about or are we just prone to these other issues? My nails are very thin and weak, I don't have eczema but I have terrible dry skin, I'm itchy when I get out of the shower sometimes. I've tried so many different creams but weirdly the Bum Bum cream really helps. I got a free sample of it, I'm one if the few that isn't really into the smell it's a bit sweet for me, but it stopped the itching. I just wish it was cheaper, I stocked up on Black Friday though. I also got the pink one to try as I like that scent more. I was using stuff from the pharmacy that didn't do anything to make my skin better.
@shendisackett yeah I use a body butter I found, and idk why but it works so much better than anything else I've found. Back in January I had a root canal and I ended up getting a rash on my back from the antibiotics, and ever since then when I get out of the shower, my back will be so tight it almost hurts, it freaking sucks. Sometimes I'll have my partner put a hydrating serum all over my back then smother me in body butter🤣
That sounds like possibly a nutrient deficiency. Obviously I’m not your doctor or anything but if you can, it might be a good idea to get some blood work done to make sure that all your vitamins and minerals are where they need to be

I feel like most cream and liquid blushes that I've purchased blend away into nothing...except phytosurgence. But I dont wear primer or base products so that could be my issue.

Jones Road Miracle Balm is more like skincare. I have every colour. I'm 67 years young and have very dry sensitive skin. If you want coverage this product ain't it. But for ladies like me it is a miracle! Just sayin'... 😊

For the Jones Road blush, I couldn't tell if you had broke the seal on it or not. It has a hard wax seal on top that you have to break through (I usually see people jam a knuckle in lol) to get to the pigmented product inside!

My eczema has been so bad but my favorite brand just started making their body butter again and i got 6 of them cuz my body was screaming for some moisture 😂 im so so glad to have them back, regular lotions just dont help my skin im too dry, so i basically bathe in body butter every night before bed
Ask your doctor about Tremfya. You get a shot every 2 months. I have both eczema and psoriasis. Had it covered my whole body and now gone. I could not be happier. In Canada it is paid for by my benefits disabilities. Worth asking. 😊❤
@moriganna67ify really I never knew there was other options outside the medicated cream (which the body butter works like 30x better than, so I don't even bother getting prescriptions anymore) so I've always just been a very dry itchy person🤣🤷♀️ thank you! I'm having some problems with my nails recently that I think is related to eczema (I have small dents all over my nails so they look like the texture of a Strawberry without its seeds and they're SUPER thin and weak) I wonder if that would help with it🤔

The Benefit Play Tint didn't stain my skin, but it DEFINITELY would pick up any other makeup I'd wear. I realized that it only worked if I wore it on bare skin, and it still required for me to use quite a bit of it if I did.
I do love the tinted love as a lip stain. Never tried it on my face, can't imagine it being good haha. But great on the lips!
The Bareminerals part helped me not to buy the highlighter blush, because I love the Blonzers. It's my early morning and 30 minute commute to work blush.
The Jones Road MB I got had so much ginger oil in it my face was burning so hard I couldn't sleep for 2 hours after I took it off, it burned.

Yeah the worst purchase of the year for me, was the Jones Road products I ordered. One of their blushes like the one you have but darker. And their dumb and weird glitter filled bronzer balm. WHAT THE HELL WAS I THINKING? I wasted $80!! I don’t even know who this is for. Just weird

Pretty sure that the print on the kaleidos blushes not only incidentally look like uteruses, they are supposed to look like this. I have seen quite a few people mentioning that now and they all don't seem to know that it's intended?? It was a big thing about the brand and marketing in general. If you read the texts, it's very clear that they want to celebrate life and the ability to give birth. So there's something uterus shaped on a lot of products by them 🙈

if you want goo cream blushes, you need to get the senna cream-to-powder blushes. the creator has been a professional makeup artist since the 70's! She invented the eyebrow stencil system- anastasia was her protege and stole all the techniques to make her own line. Yup. Senna invented the stencils and A stole them!
i point this out to illustrate how incredible she is! last year, victoria beckham bought HELLA cream blushes- new lines steal from her all the time!
try her cream to powder! they can be a whisper of color OR like a traffic light! it's hard to mess up matching what you want, because the undertones are incredible!
Omg Nars Sex Appeal is one of my favorite blushes ever🙈🙈🙈😅 must mean I have translucent ghost skin if I am lighter than Theresa's uncooked chicken skin😅😅
I have that Tower 28 blush and mine is fine. Yours may have been exposed to heat at some time. Do you have it near the shower or did you take it in your purse on a hot day? That happened to me when a brand I ordered from sent me blushes during the heat of the summer.
It’s in a cold ass room haha my house is like 50 degrees at all times 😂😂
The Tower 28 is also a hard wax that wasn’t melted properly or dispersed well enough. I think it’s a lot to lot variation, but the formula shouldn’t have that level of quality swing. It’s a formula problem or a production problem. Either way, needs to be addressed as the problem it is.
The only blush i use now is from my favorite brand Kikiz Cosmeticz. I usually use the same shade (Sweet Peach) but she just came out with 2 new shades so ive been playing with those. But its a cream blush stick and its the only blush ive ever used that is still on my cheeks when i wash my makeup off, so i really just dont use anything else anymore🤷♀️
Did you break through the top of your Jones Road Bush? Kind of like your supposed to with the Danessa Myricks blush.

I didnt know when i got my hysterectomy they took my uterus and put it on makeup😂 how odd, never thats what they do with all the organs they take out of me
I love the Tower 28 blush formula but the packaging needs to change! mine also started to grow something suspicious on the surface and I have not had them nearly as long as I have other blushes in my collection. I just think they need something less flimsy that seals better, I know my lids completely break open after a month or so of regular use.
I'm so glad I'm not the only fucking weirdo who would absolutely have to touch whatever the fuck is going on with that blush 😂😂❤❤

I have seen mold in tower blush in another youtuber's declutter - can't recall who it was... and l'm almost certain it was the same color...
