- It's a conflict that neither side seems to want. But #Israel and the #Lebanese group Hezbollah are in a tit-for-tat that some analysts say could lead to war. Israel has been attacking Hezbollah targets in Syria, concerned that the group is strengthening its positions.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah has been showing off its soldiers and weaponry by conducting a media tour on the Israeli border. But escalation comes at a cost. Hezbollah is reportedly not interested in opening up another military front, while its soldiers are fighting in Syria. And Israel doesn't want to get entangled into the Syrian conflict - a war it's largely avoided during the past six years. So what's the tipping point? And can it be avoided?

Israel,would have to mount a total war and be willing to lose thousands to try an invasion. Hezbollah has no air power and would be incinerated if it tried to go in offense. Frankly both sides might as just well stand down. Hezbollah poses no real risk of invading Israel and because its a very potent force Israel has no good cause to mount the type of war required to go in the attack.

It is not an innocent mistake when the script says the casualties are "more the 100 Israeli soldiers and 40 civilians" while for Lebanese people I says "more the one thousand people" without details. The intension is to hide the fact that Israel was mainly targeting civilians while Hezbollah is targeting soldiers.

From the Israeli causalities 26% are civilians
While the Lebanese side had 79% civilian
