I did this cake like 40 of them, to collected money for a person, her husband is facing lung cancer, and my church and me want to help to pay her rent . I have tried this one tonight straight away after I found your video,. I did reduce a bit the sweetness because I don’t like when it’s too much sugar. I did not have self raising flour, instead I have used the plain flour with baking powder. The result is wonderful, tasty, spongy cake. I’m so pleased. Thank you for the recipe my dear. This recipe is going in my FAVORITES! I had 3 sweet clementines sitting in my fridge, and decided to use them to make this loaf cake. Also, I LOVE orange spice tea. I experimented by adding the contents of one orange spice tea bag, and a teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice (US)/mixed spice (UK). SO DELICIOUS!!! And yes, ridiculously easy!!! Now I just need to make a keto version lol
Just made this - so easy, and came out very light & fluffy! I added seeds from cardamom pods on a whim, and that added another layer of aromatics. Being cautious I only used 6 small green cardamom pods; will use more next time! Looking forward to trying the Clementine loaf cake! 😋😋😋
Thank you for the easy instructions. We made 2 and they came out perfectly! Update: We made another one on another day, because it was so delicious! We left out the orange peel, as it was a bit bitter (but still delicious), and sprinkled some castor sugar on top, while it was hot, for some extra deliciousness. This recipe is so easy and definitely a keeper!

I made it with less sugar so I can make a type of syrup with orange juice/zest to put on top once is ready. The result was an extra moisted cake with all the flavors you can get from the orange. I just love this fruit so much..😊
just finished making a batch of muffins, not with orange but with a mandarin. We freeze excess citrus and then when I need it I let it defrost and it makes it even easier to blend up...less strain on the old blender we have... The citrus makes the muffins so moist and the flavour is so nice.... Thanks for sharing the video

CJ Kim I used like half the amount that was suggested. For example the suggested sugar amount was 100 gram, I used like 50 or 60 gram of sugar. .... the orange juice also has some what sugar

Just made this cake. I had one piece warm out of the oven and another when it cooled off, both were delicious! I did make some slight changes because I didn’t have self rising flour on hand or vegetable oil so I used regular flour with baking soda and powder and olive oil. I also added a cup of shredded coconut but the orange flavor is amazing on its own. Thanks very much , your videos are fun to watch and very creative!!!

Quite good and worked as described. Used 2 small to medium oranges and slightly more flour but left sugar as it was. I will try it again but perhaps next time I will pour over orange syrup as it cools. Thanks for posting.

So yummy your ingreduentd are spot on .I also added 20g of crushed walnut and 1/2 tea spoon of nut meg powder to the dry ingedient ( flour ). Then when fully baked I smothered the cake with Nutella..👍🍰

I used 3 very large eggs and I only had large oranges which I used. I made a simple orange glaze to spread on top of the cake after it had cooled down. Amazing strong orangey flavours!

I've just made this today, the cake is yummy ! I changed the oil to 85g butter, I peel off the orange before put into blender, the zest I add into the mixtures afterwards. I used Cornelly oven need to bake 1 hour plus just can be done. Wonderful ! Simple and easy recipe can make such a delicious and thick orange taste cake !

Really good !! I had an orange with thick skin so I just put the orange not the peel in. But dont do what I did,,, I didnt zest the orange so there wasn't really any orange flavor so just put some orange zest in it if you're afraid the skin will make it bitter

Made this the second time added 2 oranges, half cup orange juice, 1 tbsp orange rind and topped it up with chocolate chip. It turned out really good.

You just use powder sugar (don’t know how its called international) and put some drops of orangejuice and you get a paste.

If not self raising flour i should use baking powder?

I have this baking in my oven right now. I didn’t have an orange but I used about a handful of clementines. It was so easy and fast to whip up. I tried the batter (I know, salmonella) but it tasted amazing!!

Really good !! I had an orange with thick skin so I just put the orange not the peel in. But dont do what I did,,, I didnt zest the orange so there wasn't really any orange flavor so just put some orange zest in it if you're afraid the skin will make it bitter
Also really recommend it with cream cheese frosting or buttercream frosting !
