- Hobart City Councillor Louise Elliot says many Tasmanians were “cringing” when Jacqui Lambie was first elected.
Senator Jacqui Lambie has torched billionaire Elon Musk as a “social media knob” with “no conscience” after the X owner refused the Australian government’s request to remove graphic content.
She has also called on other Australian politicians to “start switching off” X.
“The fact that I think her perspective seems way off on things,” Mr Elliot said.
“She has also resorted to name calling which is toddler behaviour, even though she is trying to treat us like toddlers with this censorship.
“It’s not a good look at all.”

I emailed Dutton's office some time ago telling him I won't vote for his party unless it starts defending, and not attacking, very basic democratic principles. The Coalition does have a few politicians worth voting for like WA MP Hastie and senators Antic, Price, Paterson, Canavan and McGrath, but unfortunately Dutton is leader.

Wasn't Lambi suspended for having dual citizenship as an Australian and a New Zealander? I could be wrong but I thought you had to renounce non-Australian citizenship in order to enter Parliament in Australia!! These statements below are from Google:
