What people dont realise these days is it takes time and effort to build such great foundations to live upon. Those who are throwing their lives away today arent making it any easier for the next generation including others kids. The music industry wasnt built in a day. Neither was NYC or Chicago or the entire United States. Wars arent fought in a single battle. It isnt so simple as to say get these changes done within a week or two. Things take time and effort. The hard working successful business families tend to prevail. Hence why they are generally in the middle class communities. Its only super billionaire businesses like Elon Musks electric cars, bill gates creating microsoft, Trumps family and the Trump organization, or back in the day with the rail road monopolies that end up making a whole bunch of money as businesses and become high class wealthy individuals. Those and people in professions with absurd payment values once you make it big like movie stars or musicians. Those tend to be riskier because they are a hit or miss profession. You have to be extremely dedicated and skilled to make a living off of an art form. That goes with sports and athletics too.
Same with Asians. They work so hard academically and financially from the ground up. They have a lot less population living on handouts ( I am not saying none but a lot less).

What stood out in ALL of the "human rights" movements was that the more you cater to them, the more irrational they become, the more they demand from people just minding their own business, and the more they become the bullies, rather than the victims they claim to be. That pattern was already evident in the 90's, but most people still felt that we just need to be more "tolerant". Once corrupt and resentful people discover they can take advantage of others by playing victim, it becomes like a drug to them. They can't get enough, and they grow to need the attention, as well as the sense of moral superiority. But, conversely -like a drug - they develop tolerance to the drug, and it satisfies them less and less, so they need more and more of it.

I had never been to a Pride parade until 2016, when I lived in Seattle. My friend at the time brought her 3 kids. I was horrified at the BDSM role playing and giant penis and vagina in the parade, bc there were kids there, and my former friend, knowingly brought her kids there to a sexual fetish display on parade-she had been many times before. And at the Fountain, literal old men where running around naked, again in front of kids. It was the first and last time I ever went. The pedophilia was real there. What I’m shocked by is how this took 7 years for ppl to notice it is basically sexually predatory.
Well, I started going in late 70s? ... early 80s? in SF. Saw some of that then but it was still pretty 'tame' (though not for general public). It got really controversial when NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) appeared in the parades NAMBLA emphasized that such was 'common' among the Greeks and Romans (among others). This flimsy 'excuse' was finally thrown out the window because so many complained and they were last seen ... '96? Wasn't around. Who knows nowadays ... maybe they're back. Haven't seen one in decades. Not for me today, that's for sure.
In 2003 I lived in SF and went to a pride parade... it was disgusting. Used, sticky condoms all over the streets and naked men walking around in see-through rain coats with their parts hanging out everywhere. No place for children! Ok. As a heterosexual individual i can tell you how i feel. I can also speak for many of my friends as i know they feel the same way. Can i speak for every heterosexual, nope, but here i go. I'm latino and the reason the polls were like that is because we dont see ourselves as victims like black people do. We have a culture of strong family bonds and hard work. We believe we can work hard and improve our situation based on our efforts and not on what race we are. Where I'm from, leeching off the system and not using it to get back to work is seen as lazy and loser behavior. That's why the polls were like that.
I got through college with Latino's help and occasional tutoring. Hard working individuals for sure, great friends and an honor to have as citizens in our country!
TRUTH, I am caucasian but I grew up in L.A., and went to school with, and were close friends with many Latino families. They STUCK TOGETHER. They worked hard, played joyfully, and appreciated the simpler things in life: Family, friends, food, togetherness, and God.
The hardest working guy at my work place is this Mexican named Juan. My mother is half Hispanic and we were raised with that hard work mentality. You aren't a victim, get up, find a job, don't complain, don't be lazy and things tend to work themselves out.

I'm white. My parents and teachers both said that I was not college material when I was in high school. I went from one sorry job another one. In 2001 I was 40. I worked 3rs shift as direct care staff with disabled people. I took 6 hours a semester ( two classes ) I paid cash for my course and books, my last two years drove 1.5 hours each way to a university, It took me 7 years to get finish, I did not take out any loans.
@azurie580 yes, worked, went to work as a supervisor Probation officer went from making 18K to 38K the last 5 years of working with the state. That helped my reinterment income a lot. People did not make much working with the state but did have good insurance and a state pension. When I retired I got full pay with my pension 75% of my income and IRA, My retirement would had been a lot less, I would had would either still be working or working a part time job. Retiring of from $45K a year does not seem much, but do have a paid for house and no other debt It is and I keep my monthly exp around 1,000 a month

Same here, as a Survivor witness to the then biggest ever judicial inquiry anywhere in the world into childhood sexual abuse here Downunder in 2015, I was utterly scathing in my criticism of how the presiding magistrates could sit in silence throughout that exercise investigating how 50 years ago we became the 'Forgotten Generation of Australians' at the same time as there was a plebiscite on 'marriage equality' underway which posited an even greater danger to far more of Australia's most vulnerable children. They sat there sheepishly and when I demanded a response was told 'nobody here is going to take on the gay community'. Eight years later, here we are. Outrageous!!

I was adopted at birth and raised in a fundamentalist household where I was subject to daily abuse by my adoptive parents for 16 years which rendered me profoundly disabled. It took many years to even begin to come to terms with the damage caused and 13 years fighting with the Chief Commissioner's office of my State Police and public Prosecutor to secure a criminal investigation and prosecution of my high-profile childhood torturer who then died 18 months later in February this year. I've worked very successfully for many years now in specialist probono legal advocacy for other Survivors of these primal crimes. over the last few years I have come to believe that God placed me on Earth to walk the path I have for the betterment of myself and others as well as to confront some who I encounter with some of the truths of human evil that are most uncomfortable to many. I'm a lesbian, but i have segregated myself from the community. I went to 1 pride in my life and after 30mins, i left to go to the sealife centre instead. I thought pride was about love and acceptance 🤔.......i guess not. I just wanna be left alone to love in peace. I don't watch TV or steam anything but I heard a comedy stand up special at work used to love those when I was a teen but it was some of the most biased anti white bland as bleach routine I'd ever heard and the line was two white guys one a little more southerner, Hispanic, black,and two middle easterners all safe muted and terrible joke's until they talked about white people it was disgusting and infuriating.

The L, the G and the B are really at odds with the T. Why? Because if the people pushing t** g***** get their way, and there's nothing objective about sex, then there's no such thing as a lesbian, bisexual, homosexual or heterosexual person. The only way one can engage in same sex behavior is if you know what the sexes are to begin with, you know the difference between the same sex and opposite sex. T** g***** presupposes fixed genders; if I'm a man, and I think I'm a woman trapped in a man's body, I must have some idea what a man is in order to even know the difference and secondly, in order to try and make the transition.
When I entered college, many decades ago, I got several grants as an "Under Privileged Student" since there were 5 children in our family, and my father earned quite a bit less than what the maximum salary cut off was. So I got funded for all 4 years, and it also included funding for my books. I had Hispanic and black friends that also got the same grants, that helped them get a college degree, and despite the recession, we all got jobs. My last 9 semesters I had all "A's" in every class I took, despite being in rehab for a sever knee injury. I graduated with a 3.89 GPA in my "Major," which was Marketing and Advertising It proved a point to me that Affirmative Action wasn't what was needed. You just needed programs that helped student's of every ethnicity get the money they needed to get a degree and be able to get good jobs! Some of my friends had scholarships, both for Academics and being Athletes, who got good jobs after graduating from the University!

I have went to the Portland Pride parade while a bestie was in hospital who is gay to show my support, long before Covid and BLM, back when Portland had lots of safe places to go to shop. Hundreds of families attended, yes little tikes watched too. For the most part it was tame, including several churches holding signs that apologized for any hurt churches had caused people and saying they were loved. However, there were people on one cage shaped float waving and dancing close together with a trans woman who had netting for a dress…big net holes too like an inch or more diameter opening, and she had nothing covering her nipples. They just stuck out. Meanwhile assumably women who are lesbians were walking in the parade topless, but with X shaped black tape covering the nipple. Both of these women had huge breasts and large nipples, so why would a trans woman get to/want to show them to the public…again with children present? It is exactly what that young gay man said. If straight and cisgender, that person who was showing her nipples and full breasts would have been arrested and people would have walked their children away from the person quickly, assuming they were mentally ill or a pervert. Also if transwomen and cisgender women are all equally women, there should be no double standard, and the lesbians should NOT have had to cover theirs up with tape. And I agree, it shows that straight people who do not know LGBT think that hypersexualized perverts are what LGBT are due to this behavior. Most LGBT I meet in my town you do not know are LGBT until they say so…like this one mother who wears pearls and sweater set! 😂 You would assume she is the STRAIGHTEST conservatives lady, until you see she has a wife!

Ive seen many hispanics and latinos who work much harder than the average person and generally in worse conditions too. What people dont realise these days is it takes time and effort to build such great foundations to live upon. Those who are throwing their lives away today arent making it any easier for the next generation including others kids. The music industry wasnt built in a day. Neither was NYC or Chicago or the entire United States. Wars arent fought in a single battle. It isnt so simple as to say get these changes done within a week or two. Things take time and effort. The hard working successful business families tend to prevail. Hence why they are generally in the middle class communities. Its only super billionaire businesses like Elon Musks electric cars, bill gates creating microsoft, Trumps family and the Trump organization, or back in the day with the rail road monopolies that end up making a whole bunch of money as businesses and become high class wealthy individuals. Those and people in professions with absurd payment values once you make it big like movie stars or musicians. Those tend to be riskier because they are a hit or miss profession. You have to be extremely dedicated and skilled to make a living off of an art form. That goes with sports and athletics too.

What stood out in ALL of the "human rights" movements was that the more you cater to them, the more irrational they become, the more they demand from people just minding their own business, and the more they become the bullies, rather than the victims they claim to be. That pattern was already evident in the 90's, but most people still felt that we just need to be more "tolerant".

I had never been to a Pride parade until 2016, when I lived in Seattle. My friend at the time brought her 3 kids.

And at the Fountain, literal old men where running around naked, again in front of kids. It was the first and last time I ever went. The pedophilia was real there.

Well, I started going in late 70s? ... early 80s? in SF. Saw some of that then but it was still pretty 'tame' (though not for general public). It got really controversial when NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) appeared in the parades NAMBLA emphasized that such was 'common' among the Greeks and Romans (among others). This flimsy 'excuse' was finally thrown out the window because so many complained and they were last seen ... '96? Wasn't around. Who knows nowadays ... maybe they're back. Haven't seen one in decades. Not for me today, that's for sure.

As a regular guy who just happens to be gay I could see this coming and have been saying for over a year that these people are not part of my LGBT community. I'm latino and the reason the polls were like that is because we dont see ourselves as victims like black people do. We have a culture of strong family bonds and hard work. We believe we can work hard and improve our situation based on our efforts and not on what race we are. Where I'm from, leeching off the system and not using it to get back to work is seen as lazy and loser behavior. That's why the polls were like that.
I got through college with Latino's help and occasional tutoring. Hard working individuals for sure, great friends and an honor to have as citizens in our country!
TRUTH, I am caucasian but I grew up in L.A., and went to school with, and were close friends with many Latino families. They STUCK TOGETHER. They worked hard, played joyfully, and appreciated the simpler things in life: Family, friends, food, togetherness, and God.
The hardest working guy at my work place is this Mexican named Juan. My mother is half Hispanic and we were raised with that hard work mentality. You aren't a victim, get up, find a job, don't complain, don't be lazy and things tend to work themselves out.

I'm white. My parents and teachers both said that I was not college material when I was in high school. I went from one sorry job another one. In 2001 I was 40. I worked 3rs shift as direct care staff with disabled people. I took 6 hours a semester ( two classes ) I paid cash for my course and books, my last two years drove 1.5 hours each way to a university, It took me 7 years to get finish, I did not take out any loans.

@azurie580 yes, worked, went to work as a supervisor Probation officer went from making 18K to 38K the last 5 years of working with the state. That helped my reinterment income a lot. People did not make much working with the state but did have good insurance and a state pension. When I retired I got full pay with my pension 75% of my income and IRA, My retirement would had been a lot less, I would had would either still be working or working a part time job. Retiring of from $45K a year does not seem much, but do have a paid for house and no other debt It is and I keep my monthly exp around 1,000 a month

I don't watch TV or steam anything but I heard a comedy stand up special at work used to love those when I was a teen but it was some of the most biased anti white bland as bleach routine I'd ever heard and the line was two white guys one a little more southerner, Hispanic, black,and two middle easterners all safe muted and terrible joke's until they talked about white people it was disgusting and infuriating.

The L, the G and the B are really at odds with the T. Why? Because if the people pushing t** g***** get their way, and there's nothing objective about sex, then there's no such thing as a lesbian, bisexual, homosexual or heterosexual person.
The only way one can engage in same sex behavior is if you know what the sexes are to begin with, you know the difference between the same sex and opposite sex. T** g***** presupposes fixed genders; if I'm a man, and I think I'm a woman trapped in a man's body, I must have some idea what a man is in order to even know the difference and secondly, in order to try and make the transition.
When I entered college, many decades ago, I got several grants as an "Under Privileged Student" since there were 5 children in our family, and my father earned quite a bit less than what the maximum salary cut off was. So I got funded for all 4 years, and it also included funding for my books. I had Hispanic and black friends that also got the same grants, that helped them get a college degree, and despite the recession, we all got jobs. My last 9 semesters I had all "A's" in every class I took, despite being in rehab for a sever knee injury. I graduated with a 3.89 GPA in my "Major," which was Marketing and Advertising
It proved a point to me that Affirmative Action wasn't what was needed. You just needed programs that helped student's of every ethnicity get the money they needed to get a degree and be able to get good jobs! Some of my friends had scholarships, both for Academics and being Athletes, who got good jobs after graduating from the University!

I have went to the Portland Pride parade while a bestie was in hospital who is gay to show my support, long before Covid and BLM, back when Portland had lots of safe places to go to shop. Hundreds of families attended, yes little tikes watched too. For the most part it was tame, including several churches holding signs that apologized for any hurt churches had caused people and saying they were loved. However, there were people on one cage shaped float waving and dancing close together with a trans woman who had netting for a dress…big net holes too like an inch or more diameter opening, and she had nothing covering her nipples. They just stuck out. Meanwhile assumably women who are lesbians were walking in the parade topless, but with X shaped black tape covering the nipple. Both of these women had huge breasts and large nipples, so why would a trans woman get to/want to show them to the public…again with children present? It is exactly what that young gay man said. If straight and cisgender, that person who was showing her nipples and full breasts would have been arrested and people would have walked their children away from the person quickly, assuming they were mentally ill or a pervert. Also if transwomen and cisgender women are all equally women, there should be no double standard, and the lesbians should NOT have had to cover theirs up with tape. And I agree, it shows that straight people who do not know LGBT think that hypersexualized perverts are what LGBT are due to this behavior.
