Hey, mat, what do you think about a map themed hostage? For example, skyscraper could have a kimono hostage, favela could have somebody with a soccer jersey, consulate could have a business man, Kafe could have a chef, and boat there could be a captain. I think it would add an interesting visual aspect.
For reals, I honestly think that this should be put in the game

also they should make it one hit on planes vs AT rocket guns , like i have it soo many planes and it either disables them or takes a ton of damage but doesnt kill them and if you have layed this game you know that the rocket flys soo god damn slow so to hit that is really challenging

I watched after the 5th time it was recommended. Fairly useful. Unfortunately earlier this year I was trying to make scrambled eggs and ended up cracking one of the eggs... but the skin under the shell didn't break so I spent half an hour peeling an egg to see how far I could go until it started leaking. I got it half peeled before I stopped and just cut it open. On a related note, it feels really dirty to cut an egg open like that. It just feels wrong.

Yes Mat you can one hit them if you're prone but you weren't close enough and with that melee you had to aim for the head for the kill zone animation

I think the insta-melee kill on prone people works in those weird ways, when there's a difference in elevation. Basically, it needs a flat surface...and you were both on the side of a hill.

I had one match where i got at least 15 shovel kills on Argonne last night. I just ran through gas, shovel drawn, and bludgeoned and hacked them to bits.

my favorite shotgun is the 12g automatic hunter. It seems to kill 1 shot almost as far as the model 10a hunter but it shoots twice as fast so you aren't doomed if you miss.

they didn't change anything to melee vs prone animations: the system just gets confused when you are on different elevations, even on some of the slightest of hills. just registers as a melee swing

Sometimes elevation differences (especially on this map) break the melee animations but being prone is a one shot, if the animation actually works
Does anyone else play better with a bigger field of view ?
I would, probably, but too high isn't good for me, because my screen is too small so I don't see shit long range.
Matt it didn't one shot knife because there is a glitch were if you are prone but part of you is off a cliff or hill in your case it won't let you knife sometimes as a one hit

There is a small glitch for laying enemies. sometimes they will be counted as standing and facing you. if you kill them with melee you still get the animation, but it too can be glitchy. Also, how much damage does the Bartek Bludgeon do?
