This series documents my attempt to ride a unicycle 674km across the entire width of Latvia. I’m alone and unsupported, wild camping along the way. If this wasn't challenging enough I'm also sticking exclusively to an off-road hiking route, named the Baltic Forest Trail! I think that you were on a low mood because you went back to being alone. I know you are super used to riding alone, but perhaps that was added to the fact that the path was not great to ride and you just felt extra annoyed by it. We get used to most things in life fairly quick. Having someone with you or not makes such a big difference.
I did a couple trips camping here and there but never really did it alone like the "Eds Prats" does.
Hi Ed, I've been studying for my alevels for a long time (they begin in a week) and having this series here throughout has helped me to keep track of time and never fails to lift my mood. As soon as I finish these exams about smashing out differential equations and calculating things like magnetic fields I'm 100% finding an adventure!

I've always thought how much time your b-roll footage must add to your time over the day, I've done a tiny, tiny bit of filming on my bike to include b-roll, and it just takes forever, no complaints, I just love it. It would be a good "behind the scenes" look at someone filming you, filming your b-roll. Find a good place, stop, set up camera, hit record, run back to unicycle, ride back to starting point, ride past camera, stop, run back to camera....it's just so time consuming but you have it down pretty well now Ed. And then you have to edit it all together to produce something like the above, different SD cards, timelines, merge it all together....bravo!

What's with the French fries and cabbage? Every plate they give you it's the same food!!
I assume it’s a combination of restaurants in Latvia not having a large selection of vegetarian options and/or Ed not wanting to be a bother to ask about how vegetarian each dish is or order off menu.
You usually get asked if you want salad with your meal, it's often included in the price. The popular choices in Latvia are usually cabbage (think coleslaw without the cream), carrot and garlic, or marinated beetroot or if you want you can have a little of all 3.

Oh thank god he's alone again! IMO the other guy was becoming like a third wheel lol, no pun intended...I like it way better when it's just ED. Glad we're back to it. Feel like when he's solo he can spend more time actually interacting with and looking at the environment. Relaxing and enjoying nature!

maybe because the first chunk of episodes was put out in the run-up to last xmas, the ones sponsored by the latvian tourist board, then he had a break from the uploads, then the return of the series for the last however many weeks, so it probably has been about half a year since ep1 was released...

Can't you find taps in cemeteries? I've always done that, usually they have a tap for flowers and they're open to the public so you can come in, fill up your bottle and be on your way
