  • PART 2 of a grading and land clearing project. Join me for some success on Mother Nature as I break out the Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer and grade some ditches on our Southern Illinois land management project property as it has been rainy and wet the last several weeks. Finally, today, on Memorial Day, 2020, the dirt was just dry enough to grade with the Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer (aka track loader), as I grade the new drainage ditches with the Bobcat T650 and get some control of the water drainage issues on the Illinois hunting property! Join me for the fun as I take control of the water drainage issues on this Illinois hunting land property and finally make some progress on getting the property 'dried out!' As is always the case with land management, low spots and water drainage are always an issue! This is very typical for land managers as we often encounter low spots, runoff ditches, drainage ditches, and more when it comes to trying to improve hunting land and reduce and/or solve the water drainage and runoff issues. In today's episode join us for the fun as we continue to improve this Southern Illinois hunting property by working the Bobcat T650 CTL skid steer track loader and iron out the 'wet' areas of this property, and grad our the ditch areas to reduce the standing water on this Illinois hunting property. Thanks for joining us. Don't forget to Like and subscribe to follow all of our land management & Property management projects, food plots, watering holes, duck ponds, building roads, installing culvert pipes, duck ponds, waterfowl food plots, Bobcat T650 CTL projects, Bobcat e42 mini excavator projects, land improvements, Tractor projects, and much more country living adventure! Thank you! Kapper Outdoors, living the dream, one acre at a time.

Of all the machines my favorite in-cab videos are of skid steers. Thanks for this one!

Great that the sloppy conditions dried enough that you were able to get the ditch grading completed!

I hate working wet dirt. You know what it would look like if it would just dry out. You did a number on that slop though! Much improved.

Looks good for what you had to work with. Slop is slop all you end up doing is chasing it.nicely chased 👍

Like the grading action, Kap. Nice work. I think that's going to do the trick about guiding the water flow on the grade. Once grass and vegetation grows, it will be even better yet. I'm sort of thinking you're loving that steer. Oh yeah, you did a good job diverting the water flow and leveling the soil. I can't watch anymore. I just gotta get out there myself. You're torturing me, ha...🙂. BTW, how many hours did you put on your steer, so far? Full-watch. Say hey to Mrs K.

For what it’s worth I’ve enjoyed my Branson tractor and found it to be well made and trouble free so far. I did not use their finance company after reading the fine print. Same thing when I bought a new scag mower.

This is the first time I have heard the backup warning sound in your videos. Don’t here it when you show video from inside cab only the outside camera. Can you cut it off when you are working alone in the middle of nowhere?
Nice job. Area looks really good.

I've been told I can cut it off but don't know how. It is on all the time, just can't hear it much in the cab. Thanks.
