Tuomas is free, he writes what he wants, he moves the music forward, uses chords and rarely used melodies, dares to destabilize the average listener, has no imposed rules.

The musician/poet is still growing and evolving. I don't know how that was eight minutes. Now, I'm more eager than ever for the album.

The guy singing was the multi-instrumemtalist Troy Donocley.

Also main vocals on The Carpenter in the Decades tour.

@@purplebutterflywithabrokenwing In "The Greatest Show on Earth", Troy sings with Floor and Marco. He also does one of the three animals sounds - again, with Marco and Floor. He also sings with Floor on "How's the Heart".
I can hear people saying no but for me this is just like Harvest on the last album. It gets better every time I listen to it. It is a belter and proof once again if needed that Tuomas is a genius composer whose legacy is more than secure for generations to come.

the band is so well rounded in how extremely talented they all are the bass guitar the drums the symphony the choir everything that i hear is top tier and if this song is just a more than a snapshot of the rest of the album cause i thought i saw 12 tracks and the album comes in at 71 min i can do that a full lengh album such a masterpiece and that after hearing one song of some awesome progressive symphonic metal with some power metal in there too don't get it twisted they have some very uplifting themes and elements in bothe their music and the visuals because their music not only is a brand of some of the finest crafted symphonic heavy metal from Finland the Netherlands and the UK

Hi Tiffany. The male vocal is Troy. Did anyone notice when Floor begins singing, the footage shows a figure diving off a branch? It is the same image as the front cover of the Elan single! Troy joined the band in 2013 with Floor, but only recently has he started sharing singing duties. This is an Auri/Nightwish mash-up. Take care. K

Troy has been the male voice since Marco left. He can also be heard in AURI, with Tuomas and his wife, Johanna Kurkela (a famous Finnish singer). He's a far gentler voice than Marco, and doesn't have the power, but he's as incredible singing and harmonizing as he is on the twelve instruments he plays. We are fortunate to live in the time of Tuomas Holopainen.

"A Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts Ltd Oy" is Nightwish, dear friends. Nightwish has been a part of Finnish pride for almost 30 years. In April 2023, the band announced that it will stop touring after June for an unspecified period of time.
The band retired to make the next album. The album will be released this year, but the band does not plan to go on gigs again after the release.
The band says that the break is important. Financially, there is nothing to worry about. A Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts Ltd Oy, jointly owned by the members.
They've changed the company with every change in the line-up. Was Oily Empire at some point, now the coconut thing

Nightwish co before was Scene Nation Ltc Oy, and Jukka N. (First drummer ) the CEO of all of them, I think.

Well let me explain nightwish has band members that were in wintersun before. The wintersun bass player jukka replaced marko the guy with the long blonde braided viking beard. And former nightwish drummer jukka wad replaced by the wintersun drummer kai. So my beautiful butterfly thats why thier sister bands that way. Troy closed the vocals in this master piece. The brilliance of Tuomas never fails to blow our minds. The guy is beyond description. Like you, I have wondered what we would find if we could look into his mind. People will be listening to his music for centuries. We're the lucky ones to be living during his time on this earth. God only knows what awaits us when the entire album is released.

Not a bad song with a catchy chorus, personally reminds me of Noise. But in last albums I really feel sorry for Emppu. Unfortunately Tuomas still doesn't want to bring back the beautiful guitar solos in the songs. Instead it's usual guitar riff + orchestra. How boring it must be for Emppu.
I love Emppu’s solos but a lot to come so we will see 💜🦋🎶🤘🏻

I already fully understand Tuomas' words that Tarja was a perfect interpreter of his music and feelings. It seems to me that Tuomas has really lost his muse and is now recycling his own songs. I'm glad that, in addition to Nightwish, we have the collaboration of Tarja and Marko here. Their song Left on Mars isn't perfect, but it's a direct contrast to Perfume of The Timeless and at least gets me emotional. I wish Tuomas success, but unfortunately his musical evolution is not for me. Where are the interesting solos or melodies?

Left on Mars song was a big disappointment, nothing, nothing catchy or even remotely the good stuff Marko has made in NW or Tarot - just an elevator background Music song. And Tarja is just a decorative Background Harmony. When Tarja sang, I almost completely stopped listening to NW, because every song was with the same Operatic style, how F:king boring. Anette saved NW for precisely repeating itself for years and years, Anette brought new blood and variety to the compositions and the players played more Heavy and that drew me back to listen to NW. You and some other "we want to stay in the same music forever" winers, please STAY in listening the Tarja era and not This newer era, the same as I DO NOT listen to Tarja era almost at all, except 2 songs, the rest of that era is boring for me. AND I do not go around every Tarja era NW song Reaction to bad mouth her, like you winers do. Bands and compositors evolve to the direction THEY want, not to the direction you as a listener want and if you stay on to one era or style too long, you wither away as an artist. There is also a difference in an early years hard hitting test music and the Art music that can only be found on years experience and experimenting. So Adam, Bye Bye back to Tarja era..
