when i press the switch button, it says no signal on the monitor. and to make it work i have to put the destination laptop to sleep first and wake it up again. any idea how to make it more seamless?
Cool bc without a switchbox I will need to yank out the hdmi cord from work pc and into my femalenof the male female mini hdmi to hdmi adapter each time to go to home pc. PITA. *Teeny lenovo yoga w a mini hdmi and tiny lil touch 14in screen. Too small for analysis and bad vision.

Yes, you can. The connection is done with a cable wire, its not wireless
