Here it is 2020 and I just bought an AT-44W from Ebay as "refurbished" with testing chart, etc. Nice condition. I looked at the serial number - 05/14 ! This is the oldest new air rifle I ever bought ! I do love it, though. The wood stock is hard to find and i like it . Those 50 yd and 100 yd groupings are great, Rick ! - Mike
ADJUSTING VELOCITY - For all those that are interested in adjusting the velocity.. there's been a development. First, it takes a good bit of time and energy to take the rifle out of the action and tweak the hammer spring until you get the velocity you want... There HAS to be a better way.. and there is. Regulate the cylinder. I'm working with an add-on regulator right now that's easy as pie to install and is adjustable for power. But wait, there's more... I recently spoke to someone at Hatsan that they may be bringing over their own factory regulated cylinders which will also be adjustable. Because this all changes everything, the "how to adjust the power" segment is going to have to wait. We will get to it, but need to let things settle out so that we can show the best method vs having to shoot the same video several times. Cheers, AGW
Hi Rick, I've watched this one a couple of times since I am looking at possibly using one of these in my videos as a step into PCP for shooters that are thinking of changing. You showing that sometimes a good cleaning is all that is needed to tighten groups is something a lot of new shooters need to see. Clean your gun, test some pellets and see what your rifle likes. Too many think something should be perfect out of the box and that is rarely true. One other thing I hope viewers catch is you will tell what isn't all that good on a gun while others, even guys that know better, yes some are friends of yours, will only tell you the good. That isn't a true review IMHO but just saying what the manufacturer wants to hear, not good. I do reviews and tell people that send me something that if it doesn't work like they promise don't be surprised when I tell everyone when the review comes out. Keep up the good work
I just got my AT44S [QE in .25] and it hits the target like a freight train! It punches through the old trash can back stop I was using...Oh well time to build a proper back stop [I live out in the country & have no problems for the time being with the pellets going through the trash can]
Thanks, Rick, for another useful video. There have apparently been some changes, however, that you might want to be aware of. My 44 short .22 version has the two barrel screws on the side, so it is apparently a later version than the one you reviewed. On mine, the shroud nut is built into the shroud so that the entire shroud must turn in unscrewing it. That's not so bad by itself, but the shroud is also very close to the air tube and has a flat area which must be oriented toward the tube. The nut being attached makes this very difficult, and to get the shroud properly oriented, I had to tighten it more than I was comfortable in doing. I do not like that. Also, on my version, and maybe it's just because it is a short and not a long, I cannot remove the air tube without first removing the stock and/or the shroud. Sort of negates the quick-change thing. So I'm having second thoughts about having purchased this rifle - or at least this version of the rifle. I'm going to see what Hatsan says first, though, before I consider sending it back.
+Jere Moore - hey there Jere... I'm not sure that your gun is typical. I've worked with some of the newer AT44 QEs and they are all the same as I've shown here in the video with the exception of the barrel set screws. I thought that I mentioned in the video that the newer ones would be on the side and not on the top?? Anyway, the anomalies that you are describing sound odd to me. I'd suggest that you email HatsanUSA and ask them if they are typical. Maybe they have changed things and I've just not seen it yet or maybe they are specific to your gun?? Not sure, but I'd reach out to them and find out. Cheers, AGW
As an update, the air tube issue is apparently due to a defective stock, and Hatsan shipped a replacement yesterday. Great service so far. As you suggested, I will ask about the shroud issue. FYI, my rifle was apparently built in June of this year. Thanks, and keep up the great work.
+Jere Moore - Excellent news. I've yet to meet an airgun manufacturer that purposefully sends out defective product or that desires to leave their customers out in the rain. It's been my experience that when you work within their policies to get things resolved, things usually work out well. It's never a nice experience to find out you are the one that got the defective product, but it does happen. Keep working with them if you find more issues, they'll get you taken care of. Cheers! AGW
Rick, problem. When I tiled the gun and the silver spacers fell out they got turned in a way where I'm not sure weather they should be reinserted with the small hole facing the breach or the barrel end. Can you tell me which way the silver spacers should face? Thanks
@Roadking65 not sure. Different Hatsans models may have different baffles. I recently picked up a Hatsan Flash and it has the plastic baffles still very quiet. My Nova and BT65 are just a year old and more expensive and a little more powerful. The have the metal
I am considering this in a pump for $320usd what other air rifles would this compare to under 400? Think i should make the buy in .25 ? Just have a break barrel Benjamin .25 now looking to get into pcp. Love your videos and appreciate your tips
Rick, really god review. I have a couple questions for you. First, how many shots per fill do you get with this rifle? How many do you suspect you would get with the .22 version? Is the power adjustable with this rifle? I'm between this and the Benjamin Marauder and would prefer .25 cal for long range potential, however if the shot count isn't there, I'd prefer .22 cal but I would be afraid that it would be shooting too hot and would loose accuracy. Also, is the gun on par as far as sound goes as the Benjamin marauder? Thanks for your advice! Keep it up! Some of the best air rifle reviews on the internet, period.
First of all.. thank you for your kind words. I work hard to show products being used for their intended purpose and outline the good and the not-so-good aspects that people need to be aware of. I get folks concerned about "shot count" all the time. I believe it's a perceived problem vs an actual problem. The exception would be if a person's intentions were to simply go plinking for hours, but most of the time the "shot count" question comes up with hunters that are taking PCPs out into the field. This gun will give you 18 fairly consistent shots. You'll get 20 to 25 with the .22. In both cases, when you get into the 3rd mag the bottom falls out. There's a balance that folks have to understand. There's a limited supply of air in these guns. The way to optimize them, specifically the Hatsan AT44 and BT65 cylinders, is to simply add in a regulator. I'm working with some now and they let you dial in the power vs shot count and they make a huge difference. You can tune your cylinder to the type of shooting you'll be doing and make the most of your stored energy. Having been on several field hunts, I've never run out of shots because game was so plentiful that I had taken so many that I ran out of air. Realistically, I take between 5 and 10 shots on a typical shoot. Even my new Sam Yan 909 .45 cal big bore can hang with those shot count requirements. Hopefully that's helpful. Cheers! AGW
AirGunWeb It's very helpful. Although I was concerned about not having a plentiful amount of air when hunting. I was just curious since this is the long version and wanted to see if the shot count really benefited from the added size of the air cylinder I agree with you though, although, it is nice to know you don't have to lug your scuba tank around if you're going to dispatch some chipmunks for a family friend of hunting squirrels out on your farm. That's just my situation anyways. One last question, overall would you prefer this or the new Benjamin Mrod in .25 for potentially long range hunting? sometimes up to 120 yards from a treestand. I've seen very mixed reviews about the mrod and I've seen your reviews but still can't make up my own mind. Just waiting for some more information to get out there. THANKYOU as always!
Alex Cool The long version generates more power which offsets the potential for greater shot count. Installing a regulator would allow you to optimize it for your needs. Between the AT44 QE Long .25 and the Marauder .25, I'd pick the Hatsan any day. The Marauder is a fine gun, but I like the lever action vs bolt, I like the flexibility of removable air cylinders, and I like the 100 yard accuracy. 120 yards is not practical with this or the marauder.. if you are hunting small game, you need to be able to consistently hit a 1" target at any given range. That's not happening with either of these guns. 50 yards.. sure.. 75 yards maybe.. Cheers, AGW
Hi Rick...BIG fan! I was looking for your help again and I found another video of yours. Thank you for doing them. I cleaned my new .25 Bull boss and I think I lost the the breech seal. I am getting blow back in my face and actually had a piece of pellet hit me in the eye. I assume the take down procedure would be the same as in your video for my rifle? I am a nubee and a little leery taking this thing apart. Your video definitely helps. The other issue I have had is it sometimes becomes hard to cock and getting the trigger to set. I took off the side plate and think that long spring keeps coming out of its channel. If you have any words of wisdom on how to correct that, it would be appreciated. Shoot straight!
Hi Rick, great video as always. I was considering buying the marauder in 25 cal but after seeing your reviews I will definitely buy the hatsan. But now I'm undecided between the AT44 QE and the BT65 QE. How does the bolt action on the BT65 compare to the side lever on the AT44? And is the adjustable stock on the BT65 worth the extra cash? If you had to choose, which would you pick?
The Side Lever on the AT44 is much nicer to operate. The bolt on the BT65 is stiff and hard to operate for some folks. The extra power in the BT65 gives you a little more range. The adjustable stock is nice if you find that you need it. I've found that the adjustable buttplate on the AT44 is all I've ever needed to adjust. I'd probably pick the AT44 QE Long personally, but that doesn't take anything away from the BT65. If you're looking for more power, keep you eye open on the site this month. I hope to get my review of the new BT65 QE .30 Cal. That gun is a game changer. Cheers AGW
Quick question, how would you compare the accuracy to some of the better known guns like the Air Arms and BSA regulated guns? According to the groups you shot with all three it seems that the AT44 is out shooting them.
blackdiesel - Accuracy is going to be close, but not as consistent at the Air Arms or the BSA regulated guns.. and the lower costs reflects that. With that said, the difference may be negligible to most shooters, especially if you are going to be hunting with the rifle. I think the only time you'd really see the difference is during a competitive shooting situation, i.e. bench rest. Cheers AGW
What do you think about the gun compared to the tactical model you reviewed before. How do they compare in range, power, mobility, shot count, and which do you think would make a better hunting rifle. Thank you
The action is the same on both.. the Long has a longer barrel which gives it more range, power, and accuracy. You can always add the tactical stock to the long down the road by contacting HatsanUSA.com. When they have them in stock, they are happy to sell them so folks can upgrade to the tactical version. Cheers AGW
Airgun Expert & Critic - Rick Eutsler / AirgunWeb Is there anyway to order the at44-10 long with a tactical stock? If not how do i order the tactical stock by itself, and will it fit the at44 long without modifications? That would be an ideal setup for me. I prefer to keep the extra 10 inches off the gun, and i don't mind the loud crack. thanks a bunch.
Ive been doing a lot of research and I found some website with a at44-10 tactical long. That is the exact gun i want but all the websites were foreign dealers. Is this setup not available in the US? Do you know when it will be? I am planning on ordering one soon. Thanks for the reply and for sharing your videos. Your reviews are much appreciated.
Pomai Wise - If you are here in the states, then we can make a tactical long for you so long you go with .177 or .22. the .25's have a slightly larger magazine and they don't fit in the generic tactical stock. If you contact www.airgunproshop.com they can get your sorted out. I know they have the .22 QE Longs in stock and I believe they have an extra tactical stock upgrade on the shelf. Cheers AGW
Hello Rick, I know you're busy and appreciate the time you put in making these videos. I have a question about something you said, but haven't heard any follow-up. It's related to the regulator for the air tube. Can you advise where Hatsan is on making or modifying the air tubes with regulators?
Hey there, Hatsan is coming out with a regulator at some point. I'm not sure when. In the meantime you can get the Altheros (spelling?) regulator from www.AirgunProShop.com. You can get with them on pricing and availability. Cheers AGW
Sound like something wrong with the regulator or the installation. I ended up adding a HUMA regulator to my 22 cal long. I have it set at 110 bar and I get 40 shots @900 fps with 18gr JSB Jumbo heavy pellets with only a 5 fps extreme spread. I did modify my valve to be more efficient with air, but I couldn't be more pleased.
+johnny nielsen - that's not typical of the altaros regulators at all. There's an issue with your setup or your install. I recently did some testing between the altaros and a new prototype. Both worked, but both required the rifle's hammer spring to be adjusted to see optimal results. Regulators work great so long that people realize they will reduce power (generally) to see a flatter shot string. Sometimes you get more shots, sometimes you don't. The overall benefit is the reduced deviation between shots. Cheers. AGW
I am getting this rifle. Your shroud and barrel removal might have done with some zooming in, especially when you started taking out little screws. And those mess of O-rings Eek! Okay, my learning curve is going to be a steep one.
I have an at44 long too but why are there no screws on top holding the barrel but there are 2 screws on the side??? Is it a different model or something??? It's definitely the at44 qe long. Thanks.
Please watch the video again and pay attention to the dialog. At 2:50ish I mention that there are different models with the newer models having side screws vs top screws. It's important to watch the entire video and pay close attention to what's said as this type of information is usually always included. Cheers AGW
@@AirGunWebI recently retired from teaching... It's amazing how you can give directions several times, even to an interested adult, yet they fly right past the between-the-ears trap! 😂 Just catching up on some hobbies and really enjoyed this breakdown of the AT44 LONG QE. I like the mag style on this and the Bullboss. I purchased the Bullboss, and I'm getting close to pulling the trigger on the AT44, thanks, in part, to information like yours. I think this may be one example, Sir, that illustrates that "what you've done in this life will echo in eternity."
I have to send mine in cause I lost a spring from the side when taking it apart to reinstal the breach o ring. Damn spring heard it hit the wall but couldn't find it.
I have recently purchased an at44 long qe in .22. Now, I only have a hand pump. And after two clips (20) shots I end up doing around 75 pumps. Not a big deal if I were only hunting. But I am trying to do some target practice. And seems like as soon as I sit down I need to refill. I know you have mentioned a regulator a few times but after doing some research, (Google) I can only find one company that might have something, but they are very vague. I was wondering if you could steer me in a direction of where I can find what I need, and how much it would cost?
Sure.. You can get the Altheros (spelling?) regulator from www.airgunproshop.com. They don't have them listed on the site yet, but they do have them in stock. Cecil (you'll see him on my vids) has the AT44 QE Long in .22 with a regulated cylinder and he loves it. Get with AGPS on the price. Cheers AGW
Get your self a electric pump,,they cost from 1200 to 3500,,,But if you go to aliexpress you can score one from china for a little over 500. half of that will be for shipping. But most likely all the expensive ones are from china also.
Hey, Rick. I have a question for you. I have bought myself a Halestorm, but have not yet secured a reliable air source (had to get the rifle, as it was a steal!). My buddy is willing to part with his Benjamin pump, but given my experience with pumping up to 2000 psi, I wonder how 2900 would fare, with me being a 152 lb. Middle-aged man?
AGW, Thanks for the GREAT video, I just got the QE Long today. It was 3/4 full so I took it out for a few shots before breaking it down. I noticed a metallic ping during every shot. Is this normal? -Allen
I have a AT44 long QE .22 but it only seems to shoot 24 gram monsters well. Can't get it to shoot JSB 15.9 or the 18s well even after turning down the hammer power to 27 fpe. Is this guns barrel set up only good for 25 gr pellets?
No.. you should be able to shoot the 15.89s really well. You may need to turn down the power, or you may have a bad barrel. Contact Hatsan to see if they can help you sort it out. Cheers AGW
hey rick my wife got me a bt65qe for christmas. and a hill pump and the fill probe. leaks around the o rings.i cant fill the gun.my first pcp and cant shoot it what can i do.buy anotherfill probe thanks
Chuck, Make sure that you've propperly connected the probe to the pump. You must use plumbers tape and wrenches.. hand tightening does not work. Also, check your accessories pack that you got with your gun. There should be extra o-rings in there for the probe if one or both are somehow damaged. Cheers AGW
You'll need to contact Hatsan USA for help. If you want to have it repaired you can send it to them or contact www.airgunproshop.com as they work on all the Hatsan guns as well. Cheers AGW
Hello Rick. I've been calling Hatsan USA for several days. Left several messages. Also went to their web site. Filled out the forms for tech support, several times. It's been 9 days now and Hatsan has not called me. I just want to ask them a question about the AT44 QE Long I just got from Pyramid Air. I was going to pre-order the new Gladius. I don't think I want to do business with a company that won't answer or return ones phone calls or e-mails.
+noonster55 - It may be that with SHOT they are backed up. If you call and leave a message with your number and a time to call back they should be able to get with you. Also, when you fill out the form, make sure that you get the successfully sent message and that you've checked your junk folder. In the mean time. I'll forward your message to my contacts there which may help them locate your request. Cheers AGW
+Airgun Experts - AirgunWeb / AirgunWebTV forgot about the shot show, checked my e-mails and got a response today. It did not help with my problem, but at least the finally answered. Thanks...
+noonster55 - they will happily call you back.. If you have to leave a message make sure to leave your number and the best time to call you back.. I can't tell you how many times people leave a message on my voicemail and never leave their number. It does not make any logical sense or a company to not support their customers. I know the service guys personally at Hatsan and they all work very hard to try and take care of their customers. Cheers AGW
Did that at least ten times. Since 10 Jan. I call them every 2 or 3 days, I hear your voice saying leave name and number and you will return my call. Still waiting. It is Jan. 31st.
It's not a silly question. If the gun did not have the QE features, I would generally clean it from the muzzle. But, the QE features require that you remove the barrel to properly clean the rifle. Also, you need to be able to clean the QE parts as well. Moreover, taking the barrel out and cleaning it from the breach prevents debris getting down into the transfer port, which is what happens if you just push patches down the barrel from the muzzle. Lastly, it's easier than you might think to mess up the barrel's crown if you are not super careful when cleaning from the muzzle. Hope that helps. Cheers AGW
I thought you was going to show how to adjust the power curve? Maybe all guns are not as consistent as your test gun and may need an adjustment. I know my BT65 need one because the fps drops after ever shot starting with the first shot.
I was hoping to get into that aspect of the AT44, but the video is already 17+ minutes long. I'll have to address that another time. Also, I believe I've found a much better way to "regulate" the velocity with the AT44s and BT65s that does not require you taking the action out of the stock to adjust the hammer spring tension. Cheers, AGW
Thanks. oh, if you had to pick between the AT44 QE long, AT44 QE and the BT 65 QE which one would be your favorite? With all three in 25 cal. I live on the gulf coast in Texas so it's always windy, never really still, it may get below 5 mph occasionally but usually in the 10-15 mph range. thanks.
MrSreese65 I would probably go for the BT65 QE in .25.. But... in just a short while the .30 cal BT65 QE will be available and that may be better for you in your location. Take a look at the videos on the new .30 and .35 cals from Hatsan USA. Cheers AGW
I have been looking into the Condor in 25 cal by airforce, with a RL shroud and tophat tune. I'm really liking the condors adjustability, accuracy, ability to shoot any pellet, and modifications to taylor my needs. what are your experiences with the 25 condor?
MrSreese65 If customizability is your thing, and you don't mind tinkering to get things exactly where you want them, then I don't know of a better option than the Air Force line of guns. They can be made to shoot very, very well.. and your right.. generally if you can get it in the breach, you can shoot it from an Air Force gun. Cheers AGW
Wait a minute. Did I miss something here? Why did you take the barrel off in the first place? just to show us how? if so, cool. but I thought you showing us how to increase accuracy..Having spent 30+ years accurizing and customizing centerfires, it just baffles me why anyone would even remotely try to compare shot groups on a day when the wind is blowing so hard that you can hear it thru the mic on the camera compared to a day when the wind is dead calm and then try to have us believe that the increase in accuracy is due to a clean shroud and baffle??? really??? C'MON MAN, LOL ...I'd like you to do an accuracy test in a controlled environment, ie indoors at 50 yds, put the gun in a good quality rest, lock it down and let em fly, take the human factor out of the equation and then we all can truly see what the gun's capable of.
Eric.. This video was designed to help owners of the AT44 QE Long get the most out of their gun and show prospective buyers what they will need to do once they get one. The hole point of testing these airguns the way I do is to see how they will perform in the real world. It's never dead calm in Havasu, and last time I checked, unless you're shooting from a lead sled with a trigger actuator, there's always the human element. This is a hunting airgun. I don't take a lead sled in the woods, but I may take a bipod and field table. If I can demonstrate how a rifle, in my hands, in less than perfect conditions can shoot, it may help airgunners know what to expect from the product in their hands. Last time I checked, most of us all shoot outdoors in the elements. I'd love to have a 50 meter controlled range to do all my testing in, maybe one day. Can I count on you to sponsor the building and equipment? Having worked with these guns for many years, it makes a huge difference to clean the barrel properly and also the suppressor components. Doing so correctly can really help. Doing so incorrectly can mean ordering spare parts and experiencing a lot of down time. Cheers, AGW
The AT44 QE Long guns are really something special. They keep posting phenomenal groups well past 50 yards. You're not the only person that's making the switch from the Marauder to the Hatsan PCPs. Cheers AGW

I was just curious since this is the long version and wanted to see if the shot count really benefited from the added size of the air cylinder
I agree with you though, although, it is nice to know you don't have to lug your scuba tank around if you're going to dispatch some chipmunks for a family friend of hunting squirrels out on your farm.
Cheers,
AGW
AirGunWeb Thankyou for the advice Rick!
Last fall I called Hatsan and they never got back to me, they had no rebuild kits I had to get mine from England.
Cheers
AGW
AirGunWeb .30 BT65?!?!? Wow, that's awesome! Looking very forward to that review! Thanks Rick, agw.
I think the only time you'd really see the difference is during a competitive shooting situation, i.e. bench rest.

Hello Rick,
I know you're busy and appreciate the time you put in making these videos. I have a question about something you said, but haven't heard any follow-up. It's related to the regulator for the air tube. Can you advise where Hatsan is on making or modifying the air tubes with regulators?
Hey there,
Hatsan is coming out with a regulator at some point. I'm not sure when. In the meantime you can get the Altheros (spelling?) regulator from www.AirgunProShop.com. You can get with them on pricing and availability.
Cheers
AGW
Cheers.

Should I not push the patches all the way thru the barral when cleaning the gun
I have to send mine in cause I lost a spring from the side when taking it apart to reinstal the breach o ring. Damn spring heard it hit the wall but couldn't find it.
I just put it on safe with the magazine out and leave the tube in place- saves time and trouble and accomplishes the same results.

Get your self a electric pump,,they cost from 1200 to 3500,,,But if you go to aliexpress you can score one from china for a little over 500. half of that will be for shipping. But most likely all the expensive ones are from china also.
which would you say is quieter in 25 cal, the qe long, or the marauder?
Pumping to 3000 is going to be a real challenge. Get a tank of some sort and save yourself the headache.

hello the piece that holds the Q.E system has an O ring ? minute 10. 54
AGW, Thanks for the GREAT video, I just got the QE Long today. It was 3/4 full so I took it out for a few shots before breaking it down. I noticed a metallic ping during every shot. Is this normal?
-Allen
Yep.. that's the ping from the cylinder.
Cheers!
AGW
LOL, great....anyway to get rid of that or tone it down a bit?
All None
You can build your own de-pinger.. but you'll lose some shot volume at the same time. I may make a video on it down the road.
Cheers
AGW
Nice video, could you do a similar video on the Harsan Galatian carbine?
Galatian is pretty much the same ;)
i am thinking about getting this air gun but in .22 caliber should i expect the same accuracy on a normal day?
Not sure. The .22 should be a 50 to 65 yard gun at least.. the .25 can stretch a little further.

Rick, are the barrels for the 25cal BT44 & BT 65 the same? Happy Holidays!

Hey Rick Tell Hatsan to make a BT 65 Elite QE version soon as they or can a person make it a QE by buying the newer parts
Michael McMahon - You can add the QE kit to it easily enough. I've got a video on how to do this going up in the next few days.

Wasn't the barrel centering piece left out when you reassembled?
nope.. all the parts that came off.. went back on..

Rick can you swap out the stock with the at44 10 tactical stocks? Thanks
Yep.. you need to make sure that you get the kit from HatsanUSA.com as they provide all the necessary replacement hardware.

Contact Hatsan to see if they can help you sort it out.

hey rick my wife got me a bt65qe for christmas. and a hill pump and the fill probe. leaks around the o rings.i cant fill the gun.my first pcp and cant shoot it what can i do.buy anotherfill probe thanks
Chuck,
Make sure that you've propperly connected the probe to the pump. You must use plumbers tape and wrenches.. hand tightening does not work. Also, check your accessories pack that you got with your gun. There should be extra o-rings in there for the probe if one or both are somehow damaged.

+Airgun Experts - AirgunWeb / AirgunWebTV forgot about the shot show, checked my e-mails and got a response today. It did not help with my problem, but at least the finally answered. Thanks...
+noonster55 Wish they would just cal me, you know, old fashion customer service. Actually "talking" to a real live person.

Did that at least ten times. Since 10 Jan. I call them every 2 or 3 days, I hear your voice saying leave name and number and you will return my call. Still waiting. It is Jan. 31st.

Silly question. Couldn't this all be avoided by cleaning the barrel from the muzzle WITHOUT taking the barrel off?
It's not a silly question. If the gun did not have the QE features, I would generally clean it from the muzzle. But, the QE features require that you remove the barrel to properly clean the rifle. Also, you need to be able to clean the QE parts as well. Moreover, taking the barrel out and cleaning it from the breach prevents debris getting down into the transfer port, which is what happens if you just push patches down the barrel from the muzzle. Lastly, it's easier than you might think to mess up the barrel's crown if you are not super careful when cleaning from the muzzle.
Hope that helps.
Cheers
AGW
AirGunWeb Sure did help! Thanks for the education.
Cheers,
AGW
AirGunWeb Any update on this ability to 'regulate' the velocity on these?
hi i have a at 44 .22 can i put a 25 caliber barrel??
lukes 2777 - no.. you need the right bolt and magazines as well.

can an air regulator be installed? or available?
+MrSreese65 Hatsan regulator: www.pyramydair.com/s/a/Hatsan_PCP_Regulator_AT44_Class/7341
Around how loud/decibel is this QE hatsan gun? Thanks
Just under 94dbs in this video as displayed along with fps, fpe, pellet type, etc toward the end of the video.
Thanks for this video I broke my shrouded barrel and I got a new one from hatsanusa.com
ahhh, saw that you are working on a regulator.
The regulators available at www.airgunproshop.com. Just email them and they can get you a price for them. They work VERY well.

Thanks.
oh, if you had to pick between the AT44 QE long, AT44 QE and the BT 65 QE which one would be your favorite? With all three in 25 cal.
I live on the gulf coast in Texas so it's always windy, never really still, it may get below 5 mph occasionally but usually in the 10-15 mph range.
thanks.
MrSreese65 I would probably go for the BT65 QE in .25.. But... in just a short while the .30 cal BT65 QE will be available and that may be better for you in your location. Take a look at the videos on the new .30 and .35 cals from Hatsan USA.

Cheers
AGW
Cheers,

Hatsan just gained another customer and Marauder lost one! That .25 is impressive!
The AT44 QE Long guns are really something special. They keep posting phenomenal groups well past 50 yards. You're not the only person that's making the switch from the Marauder to the Hatsan PCPs.
