@@HPRaceDevelopment nothing. It just seems redundant. Miss the 2 stroke carb days when a pipe could actually add power / torque and change the power band depending on riding style as well as tune the carb to gain power. Those were good times.
@@lindseyhunt1090garageb Right on, sadly I think people underestimate true inflation over the years. A 1k pipe is the same price a 350 pipe and silencer were in 1995 Somehow oems have managed to just make way less and still keep 2t pipes kinda cheap - but i can tell you 100 percent the r&d time into 2t pipes is way down too
Do you have to change the fuel mapping on these bikes when installing the full Yoshi exhaust? I just bought a 2023 250-R and want to swap out the exhaust but don't wanna mess anything up.
Ive heard from you in other videos that these oem pipes are really good but like in this video the yoshi pipe was a bit better but wouldn't honda be able to find the last bit of power with an oem pipe and ecu tune from the factory?
@@adriangalvez5104 the new works edition is less power than std edition for 2025 with a pipe and “tune”. but people like it on track head to head. A lot goes into oem testing that isnt just a wot dyno
Hello, great video, I’ve just been watching a test of the 2025 Crf 250 vs the Works Edition (MXA) and they dyno’d both of them. They found the WE made slightly less power despite the Yosh and mapping to suit, I would value your opinion on the lower power?
@@paulmarshall8774 its a different yosh than what yosh sells - not sure whats different. The mapping changes obviously are worse on the dyno but people seem go think better on track. This is common in mapping where a little leaner and more ignition than what makes most hp is what riders often say feels best. This is a prime example of where often times a test rider is “wrong” in what they should do but its the engineers job to listen to the rider sometimes even if its wrong
Yes SS is heavier. While power is great, every 8lbs of weight is 1 hp. AKA if you make .25 hp and gain 2 lbs you gained no performance in acceleration but lost breaking and cornering
@@ThePeteGray the power gains are essentially negated by the weight gain...from a power to weight stand point. That doesn't take into account a braking or handling effect. IMHO, NO. Nothing that adds weight is worth it, even if it made 1 hp
That’s a pretty good gain in power through out the power band on the yoshimura exhaust
this day and age is a really good gain!
1 hp through some of the powerband for over a grand doesnt seem great lol
@lindseyhunt1090garageb what would you suggest for 1 hp gain that costs less?

you dont HAVE to do anything. If you want best performance - an ecu is generally the best first thing to buy

@ thanks for the swift reply and answer 👍I was considering a WE but now thinking about a std 250 but with a big bore as I’m coming down from a Ktm 350
Is the SS version a lot heavier than stock? Would you recommend the Ti system for this reason? Thanks.

Which get ecu fits the 22.5 ktm 250 factory edition because looking on your website I didn't see any that specified that it fit it.

Ok thank you I may look into one around December I will have to see👍
how much more horsepower did the yosh produce than stock
In the video.
What sort of db are the yoshi pipes? Some tracks by me have noise limits
I don't measure, sorry! For supercross it has been hard to pass regulations on most consumer pipes.
Good vid. Have you dyno'd the Pro Circuit system on this bike?
I have not
Were these numbers taken with the baffle out?
Tested both ways - as shown is baffle out. Out is louder and changes tune up some - but about equal in hp as in
What dyno tuner did you use? I got a 2023 crf 450 and can’t find a tuner for it
GET ECU, available on the website
I got a 2023rx and I’m leaning towards fmfs factory 4.1 full system can you do a dyno on that exhaust
buy it and send it in, ill dyno it for you.
I got a crf 450. Do u think that you will have one of those coming through. Love the vids
450s are rare for dyno work. most people want them slower
Can u tune the stock ecu
we prefer to tune aftermarket, stock on hondas has very limited tuning ability
Nice video..i think you meant 250R and not 250F but yes its written in the title of the video
junk ass bike names
u know what it is
was that a titanium or steel exhaust and pipe
stainless on this pipe
