Remember this rain fix! 1. Turn on the wipers. 2. Turn on A/C, activate outer circulation, and activate glass blowing. This might stop fog. 3. Activate lights. 4. Deactivate Engine Automatic Reset to stop water entering the engine if the car got ditched into a pool. 5. Do not deactivate TRC (Traction Control). Keeping TRC on stops the car from slipping and crashing from the road.
if i were u i'd run away from the UK as soon as possible, this is the most depressing country ever, i've lived there for 1 year and its so shit compared to the sunny weather and beaches where i live

My car rear demister does wing mirrors (older car I had it was on the mirror control knob, it isn't very obvious as you have to spin it to the mirror demist setting witch always felt like I was going to break it, had to be toggled as it had a timer)
If it was that easy. I do almost 1.5k km daily due to my job and that is not really an option. There are thousands that have the same job as me, and many do not know what to do in the rain.
I cant believe people need things like this explained to them

1. Mirror demisters are not bound with rear demister. In VW cars, mirror demisters are an option, which you can select with the mirror adjust knob. 2. Turning blower to windshield demisting mode is not gonna remove the water that's accumulated on it. You have to turn the heat and/or AC on, as well. 3. Don't drive anywhere where you'll flood your engine. Water enters the engine through the air intake, so disengaging auto start-stop isn't gonna do anything about it. 4. PUT YOUR LIGHTS ON TO DIPPED BEAMS WHEN IT'S RAINING 5. Every once in a while, wash the windshield when driving behind other cars. The spray that goes from their tires contains sand and grime, the longer your wipers rub it on your windshield the more microscopic scratches you make on it.
Leave your air con on all year (never use recirculation unless you really have to - and even then turn it off asap) as it clears the windows all the time and stops mould on the system
You forgot to mention, on the demist setting, also ensure ac is on. AC isn't just for keeping cool in summer, it works at any heat and draws moisture out of the air, which defogs your screen without having to wipe it and leave marks on your screen
on my 2018 Toyota Corolla, the door mirrors have a symbol printed on it indicating that it is a heated mirror. However, their is no button for it, so you use the defrost button
if you don't want your inside windows to fog after you wash them and they dry use car wax, let the wax dry and wipe down I've been doing this for 50 years and still doing it
Clean your windows and mirrors regularly and simply invest in rain x. Works so well you don't even need your wipers because the water beads of at a rate so well that as long as your driving over 20mph
Turning on mirror defog also turns on rear window defrost. If you have a rear window tint, it will cause bubbles to form in your tint. Look around next time you are at a light. You will see bubbles in rear windows, this is why. 😂
If your rearview mirror accumulates water when it rains then you should probably put the top up or close the sunroof or fix the rust hole in your roof.
I was not expecting this to be filled with jokes and sarcasm the whole time. I legitimately thought this was a parody and the dude even goes by skeet whatever? This is so bizarre
You forgot to tell th the main one .Then on your damn headlights in rainy conditions. I'm a truck driver and you wouldn't believe how many don't have there headlights on
Not all car have this feature. Btw, i think you're referring to the side mirror. The rear view is the one inside the car for one to see the rear side. Pls correct your video.

Important first step he forgot to mention.

Sir you forgot the Very Basic Step. If there is so much water on the road DO NOT DRIVE YOUR CAR
If it was that easy. I do almost 1.5k km daily due to my job and that is not really an option. There are thousands that have the same job as me, and many do not know what to do in the rain.

What to do during rainy days
Step 1: get out of the car
Step 2: tell the rain to stop raining
Step 3: go back inside the car and continue driving 😂
You forgot to mention, on the demist setting, also ensure ac is on. AC isn't just for keeping cool in summer, it works at any heat and draws moisture out of the air, which defogs your screen without having to wipe it and leave marks on your screen
He didn’t say that
I think I had an Aneurysm listening to this
That button works only for the rear windscreen not the wing mirrors. Putting rain-x on the wing mirrors will repel the waters on them.
Turn on your headlights as your AUTO/daytime running headlights generally don't turn on your taillights so people can't see you from behind.
If you are not able to drive in rain... stay at Home!
😂
And what? Not go to work and fall behind on rent
Good advice in general
And make sure your lights are on so other cars can see you better
This
Canadian cars have daytime running lights. Americans are up to date on intelligence.
Awesome, thanks
That is not the rear view mirror, those are the side mirrors.
Exactly
probably lost in translation
There are three rear view mirrors; one interior one and two exterior ones. They all give a view towards the rear.
Wing mirrors
I agree.@@Steve21945

Also put on your head lights so that other motorists can see you. So many don't it's so dangerous.
A car is not for driving in rain. You need to buy an outdoor car!
Turn on the headlights to while driving in the rain.
Wow. Amazing . thx for those smart tips 🤦♂️

Also keep the inside of the windows clean, put car wax/Rain-X on the side mirrors, windows.
apply rain x on your windshield

There’s a magic potion that keeps your window from fogging up, and help visibility in rainy weather. Called Rainx
