  • This video is demonstration on how a power flush cleans your central heating system. This was a flush that was carried out on a combination boiler just fitted by us. It will give you a good insight to how a power flush works and how it could benefit your central heating system. You do have to flush each radiator individually by just turning one radiator on at a time and then move around the whole heating system. We advise using a tool to vibrate the radiators as well which loosens up any hardened debris in your rads.
You do have to use chemicals with the flush and once the flush is completed, refill the heating system with inhibitor which should then be left in the heating system. This is specialist machinery which we own but I know of companies that do loan out the equipment on a day hire basis. Sit back and enjoy.

Hi there we've had issues from our corgi cover had no hot water or heating, the engineer told us we wasn't covered under sludge and he did a acid wash but when we asked to see the sludge he said hes cleaned it now but compared to your vid and other's I've watched he seems to of lied to get an extra penny. When I showed my mum what sludge is she said the little bit he showed her didn't look like sludge! The problem has always been the pressure switch so it feels like he's diddled us and now Corgi won't do anything now they said we need a powerwash before they will send the guy back to us what a con!

Bloody hell!! Surprised the boiler hadn't completely packed up. The plate to plate HE would have been choked up. Was it the cold spots on the bottom of the rads that got the customer to get you in? Did you recommend they had a magnetic/particle filter fitting? What was the temp of the DHW like? The boiler must have been 1 tough, resilient SOB to put up with that muck. Nice video BTW.

Thanks for the comment buddy. The boiler worked a treat after getting all the magnatite out. The lady that lives still comments how good the heating works now since doing it. It also made the boiler a lot quieter.

Not really a ‘how to’ so much as a ‘watch me doing a power flush mid job’. No useful ‘how to’ information at all.
