Styles make fights however if someone was gonna out wrestle and ground/pound Leon it would’ve been Usman.
I don’t see Colby doing anything, Khamzat is his worst threat if he fights at WW again. Shavkat still untested.

This man deserves absolutely everything that's coming his way! Can't see him losing anytime soon! Colby, Masvidal, Burns, Belal and most other contenders are mid 30's with a fair few miles on the clock whilst he's still in his prime and highly skilled everywhere. A comfortable victory for Leon, even with the point deduction. I expected so much more from Usman. I think age has caught up with him. One of his main attributes was always his gas tank but he was knackered by the fourth. All Hail the new reigning king 👑.

Leon won round 1.4 and 5 inarguably. Round 2 is a toss up but I lean toward Edwards. Round 3 is 9-9. In hindsight, it was pretty comfortable.
@@williamcobbett4943 Deluded. Usman was out striked, couldn't get his takedown (when he did they went nowhere) and Leon smashed his legs at ease while also landing knees to Usmans face in clinch.
The point deduction doesn't change anything either..

These are the types of storys that people need and are inspiring. Many obstacles and hurdles have been put in this mans way and he kept persevering to win gold. Great how he hadnt been beaten since usman and beat usman with a highlight reel finish and a five round fight to prove he can beat him in more ways than one. How Leon takes so little damage is beyond me! Maximum respect
Although it was unfair the Champ was overlooked and fought the hard way to get his belt, i do think that has made Rocky into a complete fighter, he has all round skill, means business and turns on his lethal instinct with no emotions inside the cage, huge respect for defending his title, plus a proper inspirational fighter that U.K, Mma younger generations can be proud of and aspire to emulate. Oh and spot on - Colby? Who's that?

Honestly. After seeing Usman eat so many body and leg shots I really started to feel like Leon was going to land the flush head kick again and he almost did 😂 that would have been crazy. Usman started to look desperate towards the end.
What surprised me was how calm he was/looked during the fight

Looking back at this, I truely think Tom Aspinall should have being a commentator as an option after he retires. I don’t wish his career to end quickly but injuries can shorten a fighters career extremely quickly and so I feel as though his knowledge of MMA and his genuine love for the sport makes him a good commentator. Plus he sounds extremely educated on the microphone and it just adds that extra layer of believability which any commentator desires to have.
Fr he will do a Bisping like way for sure but he is a lot more calm and chill to listen to. Like Bisping tho
