    In a bigger gig this speaker makes a great stage monitor and just run it into the FOH board and p.a. if the venue allows it.

    I am selling 2 of these speakers. Like New. I posted them on Offerup and Craigslist. With battery and charging cable. Fell on hard times. Hate to let them go. I'll be posting this on different videos. From Chicago.

    I have this S1 Pro speaker and looking to play my flute with the speaker play my piano accompaniment at an outdoor garden wedding in Oct. I’m currently looking for an economical mic that are good for flute. What do you recommend? Do you think I need to just get a mic with XLR wire or do I need to get a mixer in additions to Phantom power and a mic stand?

  • @FranciscaRigaud
    @FranciscaRigaud Год назад

    Did you ever try it with a wireless microphone? I find that it has too little power.............. hardly any, with a Shure microphone! I play backing tracks and am a crossover singer, like opera arias, musicals, songs from films, and I busk too! I don't need an awful lot of sound but even then there is hardly any coming from the microphone.

    I would be using it for singing, along with bluetooth or CD player for tracks. Thanks in advance.

      It depends if you’re gonna use it in situation where have a battery powered speaker it’s useful. I would say generally it worth because it’s a main features of this speaker, but if you know you’re never gonna use it in situation where you need a battery powered speaker go for the one without battery.

    the amplifier is good, however there are no replacement batteries available anywhere. I have this amplifier, sitting idle at home as I cannot get a replacement battery and for me to get a battery I need to purchase a new amplifier.
    I use it for work, I busk and once the battery is drained that's it, I need to stop playing after 4 hours. Do you know where I can get a new battery.

    Thank you very much.. I will shorten my questions for you.. I really like the Bose S1 Pro and I am doing an instrument session at my house and I will have a Bose and a mic shure Do you think I will need an extra mixer?

    • @FrancescoNasone
      @FrancescoNasone  2 года назад +1

      I would say no. You can use an external mixer if you need more than two instruments of if you use a condenser mic to have the phantom power that the bose don’t provide.

    I have a love hate relationship with my Bose S1's. I feel like they have a bit of a hollow sound to them.

    • @FrancescoNasone
      @FrancescoNasone  Год назад +1

      I know what you mean and yes thing many users have this love hate relationship. Think it’s because of the eq and compression that make the sound incredibly good sometimes and not so much others

    Could I use 2 of these in a live band setting for vocals for metal and rock ? or do I need something louder

    • @FrancescoNasone
      @FrancescoNasone  Год назад

      If you’re gonna play in little spaces maybe yes but I would say something louder, also the kind of sound of the bose is more hifi than a pushy sound maybe not the most suiting for rock or metal.

    What about the bass response? It’s still just a 6inch driver.

    • @FrancescoNasone
      @FrancescoNasone  2 года назад

      The bass response is incredibly good considering the 6inch driver. Comparing with 8 or 10 inch speakers you can hear the difference but not so much as you can expect.

      @@LLILLION ah ok, looks like they sell it also without battery. You can take off the battery from the s1 for example when you need to replace it, in this case they sell it without battery so it’s the same amp but if you want the battery you’ll need to buy it separately. That can be good if you plan to use it always plugged in the main power and want to spend less for buying it.

      I agree. It does not have enough bass for a bass at a gig really.
