These 5 beaches offer amazing scuba diving possibilities. The reefs are amazing and the water is calm. I can not even tell, which of these is the best, I love them all. But one of them is a famous one, called Alice in Wonderland, and is located at Playa Kalki.
Playa Kalki has a beautiful restaurant and the Hotel up the cliff offers even more to enjoy, such as a Pool, a Bar, and different lounge beds. It is possible to use these amenities, even though most of them have a fee, but it is all in a normal price range. Detail information can be inquired at the bar.
Playa Lagun offers nice snorkeling alongside the cliffs. The reef is great for scuba diving too and offers a lot to see even in shallow waters. No need for deep diving.
On the right side on the top of the cliff is a Restaurant with an amazing view over the beach. A little bit aside is another restaurant, where you can get good food.
Playa Piscado is famous for the Turtles. Unfortunately, this place is being heavily commercialized which causes that sometimes the beach so crowded, that it is not nice to swim anymore. I recommend to visit this beach after 5 pm. At that time there are no tour busses anymore and many tourists have left the beach by that time. There is still plenty of time to swim, snorkel, and encounter the turtles.
The Knip beaches can get very crowded too, especially at the weekends. But the same applies here too, after 5 pm it gets relaxed. If you are an early bird, you can also go very early, you will have the entire beach for yourself.
