Its the tab for playing it. The numbers represent the frets and drop d is the tune that he is playing it. Hope it helps!

The lines are the strings of the bass tho

The numbers on top of each other mean you hit both strings at the same time. If you watch his plucking hand you can see he strums both. Ex. The 0 on top of the 5 means you hit the open E (drop D in this case) and the A string on the 5th fret.
