I think the scene of the river finishing at 9.00 is called The Severn Bore in England and happens when the spring tide comes in and travels up the river . Sometimes reaching about 5 foot high., and travels for many miles.

It might not be an asian longhorn, as there are apparently several look-alike species, but the antennae looked right and the eyes and coloration (what we can see of it) seemed either the same or very similar. Thanks! I'll share the pics with my wife and sister, as we were all 3 wondering what in the world this was lol Have a happy new year! 🥳 :D
