HONG NGOC Nguyen I disagree . I find it extremely annoying when they add ominous music to create tension . The place speaks for itself. It would be far more interesting to listen to the sounds inside the house or the garden
Scherry Valentine I know it because I’m Greek Orthodox and raised in the faith. It’s many different occasions, funeral, Easter and regular service hymns. You can look into getting the hynms. It’s very relaxing. And someone wrote its, John Tavener’s -funeral chronicles. If that’s not it look one line into the hymns. Good luck!
RIP Maestro! - Watching this, hearing this is the greatest privilege! I am so glad he was celebrated and immortalised with such a beautiful short film. He will continue being an inspiration for countless young architects and artists all over the world for generations. His mind was truly beautiful. As much as his architecture.
Hello person who runs the Nowness youtube channel. I've been binge watching your videos and fell in love with the music. Would you mind creating a spotify playlist of them?
Life Goal........be like this home.....rough, slightly aesthetic exterior...with a complex, sophisticated ,enriching, minimalist, artistic and purposeful interior.......
Both type of houses are oversized for no reason... but the difference between both types of houses is that one is clean, and the other type of houses doesn't care about hygiene, they say is "raw" and "organic" finishes and they fill it with monochromatic furniture or wooden furniture.
@@MrJulian9512 This is more than that. Many Hollywood mansions are very nice and tastefully decorated by, usually, professional decorators but this...I have some art sensitivity in me, not much but some and I honestly was in awe. This isn't just taste it's pure art. I wouldn't mind paying just for the opportunity to visit this house( though calling it a house seems wrong.)
Amazing house and short film. The whole atmosphere and Ricardo Bofill himself, reminds me of the tone and serenity of Paolo Sorrentino's La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty)
It’s perfect Beautiful design is not about the golden and expensive things but about the aesthetic feeling you get when you get in touch with it He is so right about that
Ricardo Bofill is a visionary. A non conformist, rather a self imposed man who rules his visions. Wow. Imagine having to walk every part of the building and feel different moods. Also, the cathedral choir background music is the cherry on top of this video. Well done!!! 💫
I’m not sure why I’m crying while watching this. Maybe it’s the music maybe it’s the fact that he’s speaking in my mother tongue but I’ve never seen such a beautifully crafted structure. The architecture and design concepts speak to me in a way no space ever has. I’m crying and I can say I’ve never cried over such a thing.
One of my favourite industrial houses in Spain. Great job. The architect just rebuilt and refurbished in a beautiful way, but the building was already designed.
the fabrika is the most beautiful house/workplace I have ever seen. Often times I watch this video. Albert Moya, you did such beautiful art while showing another piece of art. Anyway, the first work I knew made by Ricardo Bofill was the fabrika, and then, I was completed in love with all his works
i've had this picture saved on (id say a good 7/8 different iphones) that i found on tumblr 5+ years ago because im so in love and i'm almost 100% sure it of THIS room with white couches on it. absolutely stunning!
In this particular one, they are Greek Orthodox hymns. One we recite during funerals, which is at the start and some from Easter. The rest are from the rest of services.
Okay, I just watched the latest episode of Westworld (3.2) and I immediately recognized this house when Maeve wakes up! I know it sounds lame but I just thought it was so cool how some of your favorite things can intertwine like that!
My life is always a forward project rather than a story from the past." great finishing.
How fortunate to have the opportunity to do something like this and to succeed in its transformation. It has a Ghibliesque presence about it, love love love.
this is the one of the most beautiful homes I've seen
Me too.
hands down
I agree with you
I agree
me too ... my dream home ...
perfect choice of music, make this architecture feel like a catheral itself
HONG NGOC Nguyen I disagree . I find it extremely annoying when they add ominous music to create tension . The place speaks for itself. It would be far more interesting to listen to the sounds inside the house or the garden
It’s actually Greek Orthodox hymns for funerals. I do have to agree it is beautiful.
Christina Salcedo What is the name of this piece and where can I find it? It’s so relaxing.

Najda Thahira hi Nandi. You may need to find out who produced or directed the film. Try reaching out to Nowness film department. Hope this helps.
The music in this particular video is Greek Orthodox hymns. One we sing for funerals and others for Easter. Hope that helps.
This is John Tavener's Funeral Canticle from Tree of Life
Yes I agree,, the music in the episodes are amazing.,,,but no notation of it
Shirleen Lavalais actually it exists. Look on Spotify for NOWNESS and they have a playlist.

This man created something beautiful out of a ruin. Respect.
this is exactly the reason why i love architecture, impressive
I cried. This was extremely beautiful beyond words. Thank you for sharing this, Nowness.
Interesting how these architect homes are always very different from those Hollywood mansions ...
Taste can't be bought.
He rebuilt and furnished the house, but this magnificent building that was already created time ago by some other architect.

this house seems to have a lot more soul, a sense of spirit
Watching this is like a meditation.
actually here's a video where you can kind of meditate there, in one of the rooms ruclips.net/video/m6YEtI0hmIM/видео.html
the most beautiful architect of a house ive ever seen in my life. Truly breathtaking, so much taste and philosophy behind those walls. Amazing!
Amazing house and short film. The whole atmosphere and Ricardo Bofill himself, reminds me of the tone and serenity of Paolo Sorrentino's La Grande Bellezza (The Great Beauty)
totally!
Oh Harry I thought the exact same thing
same
This film made me cry. Beautiful. I really respect and appreciate Ricardo's passion for beauty.
This might be my favorite video in all of RUclips-I come back to it often to feel inspired. Ricardo Bofill's mindset really resonates with me.
It’s perfect

This is real art, his life is part of it. He must be a very bold person deep down, no fear, just to be himself.
The most elegant home i have ever seen. What an inspirational design
It's calm and chaotic at the same time. Very beautiful.

Let it out love 💖
Because beauty is a feeling
My dream home. Ricardo always in my heart. Rest in peace Maestro.
This is by far my most favorite house I've ever seen and would love to see a tour.
Amazing. The light fills the space and makes it magical. The rustic and modern meet in this space.
Beautiful space. This guy nailed it.
my church I come back here often ...this makes me cry its unbeleivable ....nothing can beat this space for me
Is this the architect who designed heaven? I've never seen anything like this before, except in illustrations and movies. Purely amazing!
this is my dream house. no doubt. an industrial cathedral! his treatment is awe inspiring!
One of my favourite industrial houses in Spain. Great job. The architect just rebuilt and refurbished in a beautiful way, but the building was already designed.
This was so beautiful overall! The pictures, the music, the colors and the light, the narrative... Goosebumps!
This house have such a strong spirit and personality, it's like a creature of its own
I love his philosophy on architecture and living

This just made me so happy, the serenity could take the creativity in you out...
the fabrika is the most beautiful house/workplace I have ever seen.

Singlehanded this is the best house you can ever find. Such a great taste. This is sculpture itself.
The best! Innovative, intentional, clean, conscientious, artistic, minimal and absolutely beautiful!
I can't really think of anything better than this.
this building is so gorgeous and unique that its cameo in Westworld was instantly recognizable. How many homes have that kind of power? amazing!
What episode did they use it for? Pls no spoilers haven’t finished the show.
@@andygarcia5270 i literally first posted 2 years ago.... you're so far behind
It's just perfection, it's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life.
My fav from In Residence series!

I watch it whenever I wanna have some peaceful time.It is a masterpiece .Soulfood
After watching some of the other ‘nowness’ episodes of interiors I repeatedly come to this one coz it’s on a whole different level
beautiful simplicity. all the colors of nature perfectly blending, living and telling their own story in harmony with him, effortless.
Breathtaking! Please, the name of the music track playing. Its so haunting!
It's "Funeral Canticle" by John Tavener
if you use Pandora, look for the Gregorian Chants station, I sleep to it every night!
In this particular one, they are Greek Orthodox hymns. One we recite during funerals, which is at the start and some from Easter. The rest are from the rest of services.

I was wondering if it was ever used in film. It's seems like a great place to make a movie
At 1:59, I almost spat my coffee on my computer
He is so well-spoken and wise. Love it all.

The best five minutes I’ve ever spent watching a video…this space is GODLY…it’s luxury in its simplest form.
Maravillosa casa. Me encanta escuchar al Sr. Bofill.
That's one simple yet gorgeous residence !
so much wisdom in Ricardo
thats the best one....nothing tops this space
Exquisite.....haunting....a visual poem by a great poet.....like Rilke's "Archaic Bust of Apollo"
Wow... I just have no words...
