The original Mimikyu ex was in an EX Collection box before it got into a deck
I would disagree with you on the Marnie’s morpeko and grimsnarl ex. Because Pokemon wouldnt make a card name “Marnie’s Morpeko & Marnie’s Grimsnarl ex” its redundant and unnecessary to make that the name so I think it’s implied that both pokemon would belong to Marnie
I just want a decent Swampert ex 😑
I would love in general more Gen 3 love. Sceptile didn't get a cards in years or a good Kyogre full art

I can absolutely understand the hype around Noivern! 😍😍 although being a gen 1 kid, Noivern is one of my favorites! 😍
Kinda weird that they chose Pikachu and Snorlax and not Pikachu and Eevee to represent Gen 1.
Also I'm still not convinced on the "Tag Team" like idea of stuff like Marnie's Morpeko and Grimmsnarl ex. Tag Teams were INSANE for the power creep of the TCG, and Pokemon seems to be trying to stay away from that mistake again (since we have Evolution exs now), and it makes ZERO sense for Steven to have "Beldum & Metagross ex" and not "Steven's Beldum" and "Steven's Metagross ex." I think that it's almost guaranteed that it'll be less like Tag Teams and more like Owner's Pokemon from way back when, because as an example we had "Misty's Tentacool" and "Misty's Tentacruel," with the latter ONLY being able to evolve from the former. I think that mean's we'll get Marnie's Morpeko, Marnie's Impidimp > Morgrem > Grimmsnarl ex, and Steven's Beldum > Metang > Metagross ex. I just really don't see them having Evolution exs and then dropping them for another Tag Team type of mechanic.
honestly the game has been super slow this last hear i think its time to speed up
yeah that would literally just be sun and moon all over again. started with gx cards which had evolutions, then they did tag teams which were like as strong or stronger than the evolution gx cards. we'd be getting in the range of like 300+ hp basics if they did a repeat of tag teams.
All I think is - RED'S Pikachu and Snorlax. I would be all for tag teams coming back!
Nooo I hope tag teams never come back. I think trainer’s Pokemon are coming back though
unlike the previous Steven's Beldum and Metagross ex and Marnie's Morpeko and Grimmsnarl ex, Snorlax and Pikachu dont share a type, so it's less likely these would be Tag Teams
I'm also down for trainer cards. Gym heroes/challenge are my favorite WOTC sets.
Could you do a video sharing which Pokemon get the most and the least love in the TCG? Got me curious when you mentioned it, I know some pokemon get many cards but others not so much
i have a few 100 of these generations packs stored away i brought them all for like £3 per pack
They are going for around 36 per package so 3600-3×100 = 3300 that's a nice investment 🔀
Why they're going with freaking Amoonguss rather than Zekrom for Gen 5 is beyond my power of comprehension.
Still super happy Amoonguss will get its first double prize card and super stoked about Xerneas although it will never reach the beauty of the original ex (with fairies having that ugly ass color nowadays). And I’ll say it again but what painfully boring choice for gen VII you couldn’t have chosen worse than that

Well, there's also the Combined Powers Premium Collection promo card if that would count (the only reason why I assume it might not is due to its inability to be used in the TCG)
@@Limelight3212 but the BP's alongside it were from CZ, which still under SWSH series. I would say tho, the Combined Power Premium Collection that's from SWSH series was released during the prime of the SV series. I understood your point there still.
@@the19soul Oh, I actually didn't know all of that... thanks for explaining! Now I know just a bit more about that collection... it's always been pretty interesting to me due to the promos in it being unplayable so it's nice to know

@@crimsonwolffin4699 not necessarily. a handful of decks (especially rogue) play double turbo. luminous energy is used in a couple decks as well. it's a very good tech card in regidrago

Wow... I can't imagine how bad this is gonna be, it depends on how they are gonna make those "new decks' to be, if they are gonna design it for level 1 trainers then they are gonna be suckl becuase they are gonna make them so simple to play (sacraficing a strong ability or attack) so that even a 6-year-old can play easily, but if they are gonna design them for level 2 or 3 trainers, I guess they are not gonna mess up since they have more flexibility to put attacks and abilities, or even put some exclusive cards inside thos edecks so that we can have a reason to purchase them ALL (I'm sorry Puffin, but your stock is gonna crash like a car driven by a drunk man)
These are Japanese, they don't really do the "Lv 1, Lv 2 and Lv 3 trainer" style decks.
@@GoyBenius_0901 they do have starter sets though, like the battle academy set (which will have a good amount of its cards printed in English in Stellar Crown)
