Just stumbled on this. Really like that. Maybe the outer frame is a bit too classic, but the set itself is cool. Now do a snow landscape for the new Audi E-Tron Speed Champion.
Oh, and I forgot something. You shoould definetely try a night cruise themed diorama with the porsche or a supercar, you could easily add LED lightning to the top of the display box because the frame hides the wires from the front. Maybe toying with simulating different light conditions with the colors of the brick? eg sunset, synthwave vibes, etc
Love this idea. I had thought of making holes in the frame to light it up a bit, but love the idea of doing a night theme. Would just be a challenge to do headlights at this scale but I like challenges! ☺️
Hi Sven, great video and nice to see the building progress. Overall very inspirational for displaying my own Speed Champions in the future. Greetings, Mark
Such a great idea man! I wanted to do something similar with a diorama display sections for each car. Just haven’t got around to it. Great video Sven👍🏻
Hey Sven, I've seen your build over IG but just had time to take a look at your video. I absolutely love the idea and execution, it's really good that you recorded and edited the whole process from the beginning. I really like the clever design solutions and attention to detail and hope to see you more dioramas and MOC's like this from you in the future. You definetely have the eye for it! The end result looks perfect, I was just thinking about adding an illusion of motion to the wheels. Maybe if you replace the rim inserts wit plain discs (like the Lambo has but without tampo) or transparent dish pieces it gives the illusion of the spinning wheel as we see the brake disc behind. Or adding turbofan style wheels especially on these rally cars, because they look more like they were spinning. Great job, looking for the next one! Best regards :)
Good question, feels like it would sell well if they released displays for the sets. I honestly don’t know what’s next, I let my inspiration guide me. I have the McLaren Senna and 720S ready to convert but I need a little break to feel inspired to do more of those I think 😃
@@svensbricks I mean the Senna's been done lots of times, but i'm curious to see your idea. Although the 720s i'm excited for, cause that car should've been 8 stud wide to begin with

Thanks a lot! Funny you should suggest that…
I thought the same thing

One of my favorite speed champions! Cool build!
Thanks a lot Kevin, I agree the Quattro is awesome
Looks fantastic, loved watching the process, I will look for a frame and see if I can be as creative.
Thanks Warren for yet more kind words!

Thanks for the kind comments Balazs! Great feedback and ideas!
Why hasn't Lego made this a thing for Speed Champions yet?
(Btw what display or 8 stud wide are you thinking of doing next?)
