Much improved (sighage and trail wise) since July 1973, thanks for the memories!

Must have been a fun trip. Looks like a great place to go visit. Cool plants. Must've been a lonely place back in the day. Can you imagine being stationed out there for years? The wind is nice so it isn't so hot. LOL The ghostly rocking chairs that someone below commented on.

Yes i enjoyed it very much. I'm sure the rangers can tell you all about how it must have been because it's probably STILL a lonely place!
And the heat isn't that bad during the winter, but the wind was nice, if for the effect alone.

Wow so much existed within that small area. So much history....
Oooh I loved the rocking chair effects lol. Puts the Boo in Bowie, (Boo-ee),, 🤣
    Right up my alley lol.
I wonder how much residual energy could be captured.
I could almost feel the gusts of wind, they sounded so delicious.
Makes me so angry and sad as to why all these forts were created.
    Thank you for sharing

Haha I think I need a "rolls eyes" emoji for the Fort BOO-ee joke, lol. :) But yeah, that was a pretty cool effect from that relentless wind! Glad you enjoyed the tour!
