Veils of Nightfall - original song by Brian Campbell

Veils of Nightfall is a recent composition, redolent to me of Quiet Nights and Quiet Stars and other bossa nova tunes. (It'd be interesting to learn bossa nova technique and see how this song would work!) It's about a couple facing the end of life - the sunset of their lives - but the theme is countered by an ardent expression of carpe diem ("come, my love, let's seize this moment") in its refrain. Diction is quite formal.
Today I received a photographic backdrop frame and a simple black sheet and spent a few hours setting the camera angle and lighting right. Fortunately I had a photographer's soft box already. Lots of backgrounds are available, and if I master green screen, an infinite variety more. Sure, my futon couch, orange wall and abstract painting were nice, but after 20-odd home videos with the same background, I was itching for a change!
