I have definitely become addicted to Palia over the last few months. I am a Switch player, so I seriously hope when I log on today the A button glitch will be fixed....I couldn't loot flow logs the other day and I almost threw my controller out the window...lol That A button thing has been plaguing me for weeks now. Also looking forward to the new quests...exciting...=)
I’m new, playing only for two weeks on Switch, and I have had the exact same experience as you. I hope they fixed it. Yesterday I lost two flow wood loots. I play by myself and don’t know anybody, so it was spectacular to find someone to help get flow wood and super frustrating I couldn’t pick it up. In the game I am CeeBee… trying to use emotes to communicate cuz typing on switch is a pain and slow.

One thing with the flow trees....every in game cycle at midnight flow tree grows will flare. Most people either look for the flares in the sky that someone shoots to tell where the groves are or they will say where they are on the server chat. The polite people usually wait to begin chopping the trees at 3AM in world time. As long as you show up and hit each tree once, when the chopping begins you will be able to get the loot even if you didn't chop the tree down. I try to show up for a few of those and you get great loot from these gatherings. I play alone too, but sometimes I participate in group hunting or bug catching...and definitely the group flow tree chopping. I will look for you. I am Nina Skye Asante in game...=)
Same! I have missed out on plushie’s and all kinds of other loot because of that A button! And it was so annoying having to go home so that it would work again. I would get so frustrated too. I really hope it’s fixed!
Palia really needs Ranching (chickens/ormuus/bees), expanded amount of farming plots, and more storage. At least a few non-premium clothing and pets (plumehound). The character customization is so limited unless you spend $50 on currency to buy an outfit.
My biggest Palia wishlist item is for the devs to realize that they will make more money by lowering the USD cost of the premium store. As it is, only those that have oodles of free cash would even think of buying anything in the premium store. If they made things cost more like $1-5, they would see a LOT more people buying them. It's a well known fact that this type of marketing works the best in free-to-play games. When you lower the cost, people are more likely to buy things on impulse.

I would love to see them able to afford better servers etc. It's counter intuitive that lower prices = more money, but with micro-transactions it's absolutely the case. You want your prices to be low enough that people impulse-buy. Over time, they will spend a lot more money than if you charge a fortune (as they currently are.) You'll also get more people buying that wouldn't normally buy. This also encourages them to stick with the game because now they have an investment.
Happy to be able to continue now. The number one fix I was hoping for was the pebble collection achievement. I still miss 3 pebbles because I am unable to pick them up. Sometimes they don't show in the map. Other times they do and then I can't collect them. My character does the action, but nothing actually happens. I hope they will spend a little bit of their time on that one as well

Or specializations in the skills being a heavy miner yields more ore which when in party also gives more to party members enticing group collection in the world. Reasons to party up more often than not.
Love your videos! I'm rather behind on story quest and glad I didn't rush it (got very sidetracked by leveling up skills, crafting and decorating hehe) so there's soo much to look forward to. I've seen the winter themed stuff in other plots and so so excited to finally be able to get my hands on them, too!
Super looking forward to the new quests and the owl pet. Definitely looking forward to the Winterlights thing. Not so sure about the fish plushies considering I can't get hold of some of the ones that have been out already - and I've been playing since April of this year! Glad I'll finally be able to place my Valley Sunrise Bookshelf. Wish they'd open a TRADE KIOSK for furniture and decor and let us use RENOWN to facilitate the trade since I have nothing to use it on anymore. All in all, I'm just looking forward to having more to do.
Its so broken for a bunch of us now.. the main quest cant be continued.. night sky temple has bugs.. lotsa stuff screwy.. some ppl cant even get on.. some get on and cant go home.. sure hope Nintendo allows them to patch this mess 😩
OMG, I've been playing this for months and literally never knew there was a store OUTSIDE Zeki's store! I've also completed Subira's newest quest but never got a name plaque. Where might this be saved? I'm playing on a Switch.
Wish they had more colors of the normal clothes and that they added more outfits. Just something different would be nice. Not all of us have extra 30 euro laying around for virtual outfits.
I tried playing Palia with my wife when it first released. We really wanted a joint building experience but it didn't seem to support that fully (even via the guild option). Storage wasn't shared and building rights were limited. Has this been changed since launch? Can 2 people truly combine and build together?

I have a question. Does this updated main quest affect the items/materials requested by each temple in the Night Temple? I already have it almost done, I would only need certain epic fish that are difficult to catch.
I just hope i can talk to the npc. I'm a switch player and been having trouble when talking, i have yet to finish some friendship and romance quests due to this glitch.
I have stopped playing Palia as much as I like it. When I first started playing, the computer I was on it was unable to support the game. So I stopped until I had a computer that could support it... Now I can't start over and go through the tutorials and all that again, and I don't know how to play. So I won't play until they introduce the ability to start over.

That hasn't changed. The only way to do it is for one of you to place items down and then decorate that way.
