Chris…we have been having problems with our inground pool vinyl liner coming out of the track. Pool inadvertently emptied while cover during the winter and seems to have lost flexibility. We have tried all the tricks trying to keep it in the track one we get it up there but once we start filling with water the tension/pressure makes it come undone again :( we tried to order a new liner but they told us that with the way things are nowadays we would get in 12 weeks which puts us out of summer. Do you think it would be worth it to try to cut the liner and add an extension piece on the area where there is so much tension or do you think is crazy and wouldn’t work? Those patches are not very nice looking when i think of hiring someone to patch my pool i would be very very upset to see the different patterned black and brown overlaping blue and white tiled look on my solid white liner.
I explained in the video why the patches are dark and have different patterns in some cases. As you saw not all of them were black or brown, So the reason is adults and kids avoid to step on the patches and create a bigger tear. These areas lost great amount of sand and the support underneath the liner. Clients have always been informed before any repair and are fine with the patches, as long as they do not lose water. Also for this specific case the client will use a mat over the patches and place the steps over it so patches will not be exposed. Thank you for your comment.

Hi where are you? I want to know if you can fix my pool. Let me know. I am in houston
Hi Vuthy, I am located in NY. Is it for above ground or inground pool? I might be able to help you troubleshoot the issue.
@@poolleakdetectionllc it is in ground pool. The leak is just close to the step, as a matter of fact the step made the hole. It is just too big to fix it. But your video made it look easy.
@@VuthyLiza Is it below the face plate of the steps? Please send me some pictures if you can. I might be able to help.

Do you have any other suggestions? At this point esthetics are not important…We are desperate to make it work and try to save pool season for the kids.Thank you in advance!
Hi Isabel, can you please send me a couple of pictures? You can find my info here.

❤🌹 God bless you 🙏🙏!! Get the following you deserve - P-R-O-M-O-S-M !!!
Patches on your liner don’t work just replace the liner
