Interesting to know that if you’re short sighted with a fairly mild prescription there’s a chance it might improve with age, I didn’t know that was even a thing.
@@bretonkyle when i was a kid i couldnt see anything close- especially reading but as time passed and now im 19 i have problem seeing any billboards or any texts from a distance of 3meters etc World seems blurry but the second ivput on glasses everything seems so sharp in contour 😭✋️ But bc i wer my glasses rarely when i do put them on i end up getting a headache sometimes
This is a genuine reminder to me to get my eyes checked again! I needed glasses in the 6th grade but fortunately grew out of them a couple of years later! I remember how relaxing the whole experience was.. I just didn't know to call it real life ASMR at the time 😂

I went a few months ago and the dr had a new updated machine. No more puff of air! He was so excited about it. 😂 maybe check with your optometrist if you haven’t in awhile!
@AyamiLee I got mine checked here recently and the new machine they had took a little plastic ball and it punches you in the eyeball. Lol I prefer the air poof.😅

Lighter eyes allow more light into the eye evolution for people who live in places where there isn't much light/ gloomy a lot (much like London) brown eyes/ darker eyes allow less light, evolution for places that have a lot more sunlight. Because travel is more common over the last several thousand years that has changed etc etc

Im an ophthalmic technician in the US and perform all of these exams. The sessions can be very chill almost asmr level....but thats rare for us😅 This must be a VERY chill clinic.

Melissa has - look for the one with a guy called Christian in Leicester.He does use modern machines but not the one with the lenses.All his are the real old school stuff.
In the us they prove the air pressure machine isn't healthy and safe for eyes I got ptsd from it because the nurse kept doing it and blaming me for it when it was her but i left and went to a more nicer and safer place who use less pressure
She needs to be like haircut Harry and not talk, ruins it for me I just want to hear the optometrist, I know it's a real eye test but if I heard haircut harry talking all the time I wouldn't watch 😂
How much do they change when the cam is not around? She seems like the type who made it and sits in an office everyday. The jacket seems a bit out of place, something you would wear in a lobby setting. Damn I’m good!

Sadly I think this happens because your eyesight will begin to lose the ability to see things closely.
My distance eyesight is noticeably better at 30 than when I was a kid. But I also can't focus on things extremely close like I used to.

That pressure machine is my worst nightmare! My eyes are always streaming tears afterwards and I flinch so violently with every puff 😂

You do have a right to reject it. I always tell them I refuse it when I go and they don't say anything about it
