Abel got it wrong. Everyone making excuses except for the guy who lost the fight. Give the credit and keep it moving. Crawford showed his ass on July 29, he made it look easy. Spence looked good in round 1 and he even looked like he was in good spirits before the fight, they showed it during the epilogue. He just ran into a problem he couldn’t solve that’s it.

Crawford got 100% credit and done what he suppose to do but Spence definitely does not fight the way he did with Crawford and even came into the ring dry and drained as hell. He power wasn’t there neither wasn’t his consistency. It has nothing to do with Bud idk what Spence was doing but it was a him problem.

Of course, he made that excuse! He'd been banging on about how Spence was going to "dominate" Crawford for a while now. So, now he needs to justify how his analysis was so wrong.
These trainers and boxers have incredible biases to former teammates, mates, and trainees.
It blinds them to the point of not being able to look at a fight objectively.
I, among many other pundits, have been saying that since Crawford kod Horn, he'd beat Spence even easier.
Styles make fights, and Errol is such a straightforward boxer. His style is tailor-made for a clever boxer like Crawford.
Tszyu would have just as easy a time with Spence. He'd do it differently, though, and bludgeon and force Spence on the back foot all night. RSC round 7

Crazy thing is before the fight people were saying Bud looked weight drained and talking about how he was sweating at the press conference and on Mike Tyson's podcast and there were rumors (haven't been substantiated) that he missed weight and had to step on the scale again to get below the weight.
Anybody who's honest enough can go and look at the first round and a half and you'll see that Spence looked fine. After the first knockdown was when he looked out of sorts, but that's what a great counterpuncher does to you. They make you second guess everything, they make you over think, they make you slow down, because what happens when you dont? The first knockdown in round 7. Spence finally thought "I got him backed against the ropes, it's time to go to work, overhand left and then I'm going to that body" and Bud hit him with that counter right upper cut that he didn't see coming and he was on his ass before he finish throwing his body shots.
Also, Spence been fighting at this weight his whole career. he knew he was fighting crawford for over a year. He had a nutritionist. Stop the excuses.
A guy who's fought at a weight and dominated fought a guy who was a stylistic nightmare for him and got beat and people are really going to say the weight is the problem? GTFO.

I don’t understand why these experienced people are missing the point. Spence spent 18 months out of the ring walking around at 180. Then had to boil down to 147 in 8 weeks. Such weight drain saps you of everything. His legs were week, he had no punch resistance and had no pop. No timing. All classic signs of weight drain. His body will never be the same after that shock. It’s happened to the best of them. RJJ is the best example. Then the worst thing Spence did was jump in the ring with the baddest dude of them all. 154 may even be too small for Errol. His body needs to adjust to the new lower weight. So having an opinion means he is ‘making excuses’. The guy is an established, experienced trainer and is stating what he saw. Same thing I saw when I saw Spence in the locker room before the fight.
The FACT is Spence did NOT look right. Nobody is saying Crawford couldn’t or wouldn’t of won regardless of how Spence was. Crawford is a living legend. The best boxer on the planet at this moment. But you can’t deny something was wrong with Spence.

Yes the Spence fans could see Spence was not 100% looked similar to Hoya vs Pacman Hoya was slow had bad movement looked weak Spence was definitely not 100 should get another shot at stronger weight he should look a lot better at 154 Hoya and Cotto were better strong at 154 when they fought Floyd

Now the pendulum fan view is Bud is now some super - ninja boxer 10 x better than anyone else at his weight... sigh.
Well, it was a brilliant 'within himself ' performance by Crawford against an Errol Spence - who not only was limited enough in his fight styles 'before' this fight - but who clearly now has compromised ability after that horrendous 100mph+ car accident / being at 147 too long! The guy simply didn't look right and was worse after prime Crawford finished with him!
The real lesson?: Take those defining fights at the right time rather than play politics and then gamble later...!!

NOBODY CAN PROPERLY ANSWER IF "THERE SHOULD BE..."I did not answer the survey question for that reason but...
I´M NOT INTERESTED IS SEEING THAT REMATCH. Crawford-Tzsyu & Crawford-Boots WOULD BE GREAT to my liking.

#FightHubTV: ESJ vs Crawford is akin to a 1 on 1 hoop game, where one guy shows up healthy and the other shows up with a sprained ankle. The healthy player, after recognizing the oppositions vulnerability, pours it on for "an all-time great performance". Any proclamations of greatness which does not recognize that ESJ was physically impaired, is incomplete...

    Before fight
Spence to big, he gonna break Buds will, he is gonna do damage
    After fight
Spence was too big so he struggled to make weight! He was drained he was tired he has brain damage! 🤦🏽‍♂️
So what makes anyone think he can fix all that damage and do better in a rematch?
Why is there hope for Spence to win a rematch if he is soo damaged?
If he would have beat Bud none of this stuff would be said. None of it. But everyone would be clowning Bud for being exposed as not all he was cracked up to be.
Bud was the same Bud he always is in a fight but on July 29th he was even better! 💪🏽💪🏽💯💯!
    NO EXCUSES!!

If Spence was my brother, I would’ve been totally honest with him , I would’ve told him that if Crawford could take his best punches, he was done. Spence lacks complete defensive abilities. I would of warned him, that the fact he can’t fight off the back foot, is a bad look for this one. I would’ve told him the longer reach of Crawford can set up the parry to counter . A two inch reach advantage is enough cause I could hit you and draw back on my back leg and make you miss everytime. Never been a go along to get along guy, I’d rather someone be truthful with me, if they really got love for me but everybody knows that people will say they rock with you but have bad intentions. Styles make fights , not emotions.

Jake Paul will not develop that level! It is a gimmick! My father was a Golden Gloves boxer in the 1950's. Those guys lived it and dreamed it to be fighters. There was no influences or social media. They lived the life and fought fighters who wanted to fight. No easy walks back in the day. It was not about money back in the day. It was about the competition and challenge. Thanks Coach Abel! You are right!

Another thing, all fighters should not be able to wrap their own hands. It’s funny I have never seen Crawford bust any other of his past opponents like he did on Spence. Spence please listen to Floyd, don’t take the rematch at 154, either at 160 or a catch weight at 158. Spence was probably 65/70 percent for that fight, didn’t make any excuses. EJ your still the best in my eyes and you will prove everyone wrong

Jake Paul's done well; but as a boxer - he's a distraction. I can't take it seriously. It's like 'the money' contaminates 'the boxing'. He's paid $$$ to skip years of amateurs experience; that other boxers have worked tirelessly for. And that's not fair. The irony is 'the $$$' yet 'loss' - loss of years of experience and loss of real competition. I can't even fathom a WT shot. A lose/lose, in my opinion.
