TWICE korean singles are much more experimental (although it's still cute) such as "SIGNAL" and "LIKE OOH AHH" and "FANCY" and "DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY". The same thing goes for RED VELVET. RV first Japanese single is "#Cookie Jar" followed by "Sappy" (I like em tho) Again, if you compared to their korean releases, "Power Up" and "Bad Boy" and "Zimzalabim" and "Psycho", you can see that they are much more likely to experimental. I*Zone "Suki to Iwasetai" and "Buenos Aires" and "Vampire" is meh compared to their Korean releases. There's nothing with cute tunes, they just trying to cater to Japanese audiences. But they kinda toned down the dance moves and songs quality. That's it. Also for reference, you can compare SNSD Japanese and Korean single.

"Breaking Out" is a lesser known beautiful Dreamcatcher song, in Japanese, that concludes the whole Nightmare Series (originally the Nightmare Quartet) with a happy ending. It corrects the anticlimactic ending of "Piri" and gives fans the whole story - that's hinted in the end of "Piri" when they join hands. In "Breaking Out", Dreamcatcher manage to cut loose from the red threads of Destiny and are joined together (storywise) for the first time since "You and I", when Yoohyeon was trapped inside the Nightmare (the Japanese version of the song is included in the same album, "The Beginning of the End").
I prefer this much more to the alternate ending thing which makes this ending feel less genuine. The Nightmare girls deserve freedom. It's such a good story honestly I miss this era...
Dreamcatcher can be in any concept, but no kpop groups can be like Dreamcatcher concept (dark,mystery,epic and dope,) for every album. Dreamcatcher really has it own style.

They never disappoint. The chorus just takes it to another level. That unique rock sound is what sets them apart for me.
"Breaking Out" is a lesser known beautiful Dreamcatcher song, in Japanese, that concludes the whole Nightmare Series (originally the Nightmare Quartet) with a happy ending. It corrects the anticlimactic ending of "Piri" and gives fans the whole story - that's hinted in the end of "Piri" when they join hands.
In "Breaking Out", Dreamcatcher manage to cut loose from the red threads of Destiny and are joined together (storywise) for the first time since "You and I", when Yoohyeon was trapped inside the Nightmare (the Japanese version of the song is included in the same album, "The Beginning of the End").
I prefer this much more to the alternate ending thing which makes this ending feel less genuine. The Nightmare girls deserve freedom. It's such a good story honestly I miss this era...
