Also it's not really similar tbh, it's just the dubstep genre of music and the brass sounds in the chorus that makes it sound similar.

CLC DIDN'T DISBAND, READ THIS.
Yujin said that the company told them that they were DISMISSED, which is not having activites as a group for a period of time, so it's literally what Elkie said when she departed from the group. And to be honest, she didn't even say the word "dismissed" in Korean, it was a mistranslation. She said "the company told us that the group will have no activities", which means that they're on HIATUS.

NO. Eunbin told multiple times that the group would have resumed group activities after Girls Planet 999 ends!
She said it two times: the first time in an interview on July 22nd, and the second time on August 1st on the UCUBE app, answering a fan's question which asked when the group would have made a comeback.
And she said it way after Yujin recorded the first episodes of Girls Planet.
The girls talked about a possible comeback multiple times in the year. For example during the lives, on the instagram stories, and Sorn even retweeted a tweet that talked about a CLC comeback in May 2021 (now deleted). So don't say CLC disbanded because it's very clear that they did not.

Yes, it is true. But maybe the group has plans, many things can change thanks to Yujin on Girls Planet 999. There are many possibilites other than disbandment. Maybe Cube has plans (which I highly doubt, but I will say that anyway lol) to give the CLC name to the girls, so that they can go to another company and continue their careers; or maybe CLC wants to create their own sublabel like Suju and Apink did.
There are possibilities.
Please don't d-word CLC, nobody of them EVER even pronounced the word "disbandment" so please, stop saying CLC disbanded.
UPDATE: Eunbin said ANOTHER TIME to wait for them regarding to the comeback! This is the third time, she said it on August 23rd.

So it's a multiple layered meaning. "美" is actually *Chinese* and is pronounced as "Mei" meaning "Beautiful". "아름다운" is Korean and is pronounced as "Ah Rum Dah Oon". So in the song they are saying "Ah Rum Dah Oon Mei" roughly translating to "Beautiful Beauty" making two layers. Now with "Beauty" in English that is also a term for a "beautiful woman", that's a third layer within the two layers. These are the surface layers.
It gets even more layered with English speakers *mishearing* the words "Ah Rum Dah Oon Mei" and hearing it as "I don't doubt me." That in itself adds many more layers with the phrase then turning into "I don't doubt beauty" which can then be roughly translated into "I don't doubt the beauty of a woman". Then if you reinterpret the 'I" as the word "Eye" then it references how "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" which references self reflection of women (hence the mirror in the music video) which then roughly translates to "The Eyes shall not cause doubt in the beauty of women" or something to that matter. This being personal to each woman and each woman being different in the eyes of themselves (hence why the music video focused so much on the eyes of each of the girls in multiple scenes). This is in contrast to the beginning of the video where the girls refuse to look at you the viewer but then all turn to look at you together. This is also in the chorus where they are all together dancing where you don't see just one set of eyes but women as a group. This is referencing how all women are beautiful in their own way but also beautiful collectively altogether.

Imo this is the only kpop mv that has tons of easter eggs and I'll try to crack it as much as I could ;
-First, the title called 'Me' which in chinese, means beauty (mei), they're using this chinese character at the very end of this mv.
-they're wearing hanbok and military outfit and vice versa means that beauty comes in every form, be it feminine (hanbok), or stronger one, almost like masculine (military outfit) .
-Seungyeon behind a glass window with a painting of a lady in 0:27. That lady is Venus, the goddess of beauty from Ancient Rome Gods. It looks like she was trapped, in a box sorta almost like an exhibit for people to watch but in 2:16 , the glass was covered in black painting, and later , get smashed with the elk's head as her (Seungyeon) beauty will never be defined by anyone and can only be defined by her and herself only (since Venus is the literal form of beauty, she was idolised by people)
-In chorus (0:56), we can see a white wall with a red stroke, symbolises danger and threats.
- my personal favourite easter eggs, In 1:09 , the dance involved them doing the swipe down motion with their hand on their face. In sign language, this movement specifically means beauty or beautiful.

i loved the song but what caught my attention the most was this concept, i think it has some kind of meaning behind the way they're showing some iconic items and art icons, like "The Birth of Venus" in the crystal where seungyeon is in (most specifically, Venus). I think we all know what Venus represents on greek mythology, but for those who probably don't know, Venus or Afrodite is the symbol for love and fertility, a woman that doesn't let anyone rule over her. With a strong and smart attitude, with a lot of love to give. She's symbol for beauty too. The crystal box she's in could be a way to represent the shell where Venus is in, where she came ashore in.
(I apologize beforehand because I don't know all of their names) If you see, some of them stare at seungyeon inside that box (i felt it was like, that freedom, recognition of women's beauty and intelligence was trapped in), and I'm pretty sure that red stain on white wall has meaning too (probably a symbol of rebelion?) and it's related to 2:18, where seungyeon is already out and the crystal is covered by black painting.
My guess is, seungyeon is Venus, and this whole concept goes around woman empowerement (which wouldn't surprise me after NO), they're trying to free Venus from the crystal box, it's not just a painting or in exhibition anymore, it's real now, you can see her, you can interact with her, maybe representing this whole movement of recognition for women as individuals that deserve equal rights and stuff (you know, that) it's happening now. ME is encouraging girls to be themselves (even on the red and white domino that had CLC and when it dropped, it said ME, kinda like saying they were being themselves).
We are all Venus/Afrodite, we are all smart, we are all beautiful. I haven't read the lyrics yet though, but I had this guess just by watching the mv. I'm pretty sure the deers and goats have something to do too but I'd have to look up for the meaning of a few other things that appear in the mv to see the relation, but for now, that's my guess :)
I like CLC doing this kind of concepts, this is not exactly dark, it's more like a rebelion, like going against the usual and common but not in a harsh way. (and yeah seungyeon is most likely to be my bias if i start stanning them haha)

I think they're rams rather than goats, and the deers also have symbolism: the deer can be an animal of power, and represent sensitivity, intuition and gentleness, while the ram can symbolise determination, action, initiative, leadership, renewal and power. They fit with the CLC ethos very well.
The red, yellow and blue theme echoes the color circle, traditional in art. Harmony is achieved with balance and equilibrium. Again, this fits with the CLC idea of their multi-dimensional personality.

clcfam, seungyeonology and queens.2ne1 have some theories about the other mv's on instagram! But omg I love your theory about the mv, I noticed that they are going against the society's standard and "rebelling" (plus the analysis of the birth of the venus, we stan an art intellectual)
