As neat as these cutscenes are I feel like it would have been a better choice to see all these characters thriving in the ruins of Gran Soren after we save them all.
Each time you see a landscape, you missed someone related to that location.
SPOILERS
The people you failed to include in this ending (in order) are :
- Hugo (landscape Coral snakes hideout) you literally can't miss the start of this quest after passing the border, but it's structured poorly, as you need 3 unrelated quests completed for it to progress further... check a guide or bust Hugo out of jail at your own risk
- Menella and the Empress ( Landscape : Springs) Lots of back and forth from the capital to the springs, which is tedious without a portcystal, but the quests at least are self explanatory.
- Beren (Landscape: Beren's childhood home) Really easy to miss this guy, as he is in the game's starting area, and doesn't have anything to say unless you catch him at his tent to start the quest line. I only learnt he was a fairly important character in my 3rd playthrough...
It's also worth noting that some characters have multiple variations, and your pawn has a hidden affinity system, that will grant you a special scene with them during the dragon's confrontation
Thank you for pointing this out. I will make sure to check those out in my 4th playthrough. However, I did the Menella and the Empress one, it's when you are trying to capture the culprit right? The traitor ends up killing herself. Is there more to it?

I agreed with the empress to not use the "lookalike" Menella prepared.
With that choice, The culprit identified that the person i had on the bed is indeed the real empress, and asked me to kill her. I played a magic archer, so hearing this i started aiming at the culprit instead but hesitated to shoot, hoping that something will happen if i wait a bit (...i thought i fked up the quest...)
After waiting a little while however, She then said that "that's enough", and explained that she was only testing my conviction(and i passed...I assume the game didn't register that i was aiming at her, not the empress)
She then starts spilling the beans about her plot. (As it turned out, the correct choice is to draw your weapon when she asks you to kill the empress and wait a bit.)
Once she's done, the empress "wakes up" and Menella walks in , taking the culprit to custody.
Aside that , i did Menella's escort quest, and convinced them to evacuate in the unmoored world.
@@dani22flore ahhh interesting! I did the same but captured the culprit right away when she was inside the shed. When they tried asking her questions she killed herself lol. I did evacuate them all at the end but I guess I have to do that quest the way you did next time. Thanks!
@@RubaJaiousy I'm pretty sure you have to return back to venworth after that and empress nadinia will be there and you can start the quest of escorting her
i did all the quest and saved them all in the unmood world, but some i dont get the cutscene
I kept getting burned off the wing and didn’t realize I could hide behind those spines.
First time I had to look up a walkthrough to get through a game’s fucking credits 🤣

Hows it look with the pawns affinity? I got everyone but maybe not the pawn. I didnt see trysha in credits either
trysha wasnt in the credits, max affinity pawn makes the pawn transform back to their real self when they open the pathfinder's heart

@dylanlee5342 small talk them every 10 min, clap their hands after a fight, change appearance (hairstyle, makeup, tattoo, etc) present them in a sphinx challenge. Having to revive them at a rift stone makes them lose affinity
Hot spring... a lot of hot spring visit
You're missing Hugo from the Coral Snakes cutscene. lol it's not complete.
The coral snake quest is bugged for a lot of people
He also forgot Beren aswell, the one that gives the maister for warrior skill and the princess from Batthal aswell.
I’m a bit upset that the trailers we saw were actually just the endgame “win” scenes.
i think it sucks you cant become the seneschal in this game. I wanted to be able to see other peoples arisens at the end and fight them or even my own in new game+
Perhaps in the DLC
Fighting yourself and hearing your character talk was the coolest thing in DD1
Tbh, the last Seneschal threw a child tantrum over not being the sole power in all of creation, so it's kinda hard to become the next one since he isn't letting anyone.
I’m not fully sure if there is a Seneschal in this world.
My understanding is that this “Great Will” dictates a dogma (Dragon/Arisen) and it’s never the same in whatever universe we’re in.

this made me realize i missed a lot of quests from diffrent npcs on my first run lol. only got sven, ulrika and glyndwr cutscenes
There’s a few scenes missing from this ending Hugo, Beren, Gregor and Margit, Guatstafr and Cliodhna, Lamond, and finally Menella and Nadinia.
Theres hugo missing and ser beren too
If your main pawn has high affinity towards you, he/she will revert back to its original form and the dialogue is much better.
Oh, I didn’t even realize that was an affinity thing.
I thought everyone’s pawn changed back. XD
Loved my pawn, was such a wonderful thing.
My first playthrough has missed 4 of them.
Ulrika : forget to complete Melve's people evacuation.
Hugo : fail to save him. The quest was bug, he and Lanzo killed each other without giving any clues.
Barren : fail to say last goodbye to him at his campsite before going to Rest Town.
Volcano Campsite (Hot Spring Town) : I don't really know what I have missed. Can anyone tell me this?
But the rest are completed though (Sven / Welhelmina / Sacred Arbor / Phaesus & Raghnall / Sara / Nadinia & Menella)

Hide behind the "claws" of the wing, there are spots where there is no fire. That is your indicator
Does it repeat if you die? Or it puts you back to some kind of checkpoint?

You have to complete her questline before starting the coronation

I got the true ending on playthrough 1. Though my pawn turned back into human form and the dialogue was better. I felt so sad that after all the time devoted to the game the ending technically wasn’t a happy one for the Arisen and the main pawn. Even if the Arisen sacrificed themselves I wished the main pawn lived on. So loyal with us for the journey
I honestly could not give one flying F*ck about the world or many of the characters we interacted with in the game to be honest outside say Ulrika. I mean I would honestly sacrifice Captain Bryant at a drop of the hat but didn’t because I felt that wasn’t going to be a true game ending…
So for me the ending wasn’t great and a turn off for devoting such time to play the game. Don’t think I’ll be playing anymore of this crap game…
