Been there, done that! Didn't see your video before I did this. I was changing the lock style into Blue bullet stems on the lock. Had to remove everything to get into original locks off!
Why Dodge? Were you trying to see how many different sizes of fasteners you could use to attach A SINGLE DOOR PANEL? And then decided to throw in a bonus fastener that faces inside the door? I've worked on cars for many years, this is single handedly the most over-complex door panel mounting I've ever dealt with. Props to the video poster for taking the time to unmask the hidden secrets of Dodge door panel removal.
This was quite useful, as I was wanting to know how to remove the panels so I could put in some insualtion against road noise. I've got 57k miles on mine, and not a single problem...except that road noise when you hit concrete highways!!
Anybody who came here to find out how to REPLACE THE SIDE MIRRORS should know that it can be replaced without removing the panel. There are two tiny panels that pop off, granting access to the mirror nuts. I could kiss the Dodge designers for this. Dealership wanted $180 in labor to replace the mirror.
"More like the dumbway" I used to work in a tint shop, so as i said before you "do not" need to remove your window panel to tint them, ask any window tint pro, that just makes more work; and thats for any car make, as i said leave it to the pros bud.
