You can add shadows (and many more different effects) by using "Layer" pane, selecting required layer and pressing "fx" button in the bottom

Same features as Affinity Photo, really. Which is beat, but I'd rather add them in photo if I'm working with an image.

For deleting everything in the text box: Command+A (for Mac) or Ctrl+A (Windows) 😀

I didn't want to delete the stuff above. Ctrl+A would have grabbed all of it. It took longer to set that stuff up again than to just highlight and delete the rest
