I'm obsessed with the album art, wow!

Yeah I love it too. Growing up in the Midwest and now living here again after a long time away, I just find the whole thing so relatable. The album art makes it all that much more visceral.

FYI it's the OKC county jail house in the background

@@creekandseminole I looked it up after reading your comment and I see it now. Even more grim now that I know what that is.

I had a listen to some snippets of this record just now. It's intense. I'll have to listen again, after I've had some sleep, to see what I think in a new day. It kept my attention, though.

Very intense for sure. Definitely have to be in the mood for it. But I find it incredibly powerful.

I'm from OKC and this band has garnered some high praise lately. OKC has been a hotspot for some amazing bands. Black Magnet, Money, Cursetheknife, Wild Honey, and Traindodge. I highly recommend that you give them all a listen.

Great video. Not my style of music, but I checked it out and really liked it. Expanding my musical taste. They’ve tapped into something real. Authenticity shines through.

Thanks! I think it someone had said to me there's this band from Oklahoma City and the guitarist's favorite band is Korn, I would assume it's not down my alley. But what they're doing transcends all that, I think. Like you said, it comes across as very authentic.

sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. My tastes are pretty soft though. Heaviest I get is probably AC/DC

I had a listen on the bandcamp link you provided. I maybe totally off the mark, but to my ears I can hear a bit of David Yow in some of the less metal screaming parts of the vox (not as funny though😂) Even some of the guitar tones are a bit Jesus Lizard in places. Wicked Puppet Dance is the one for me. Good stuff...OMG have you made me a modern metal convert Ian?!? It can't be real metal can it, if they don't wear spandex or use hairspray? 🤘
