I bough that same WALA hat press from Heat Transfer Warehouse and after 22 presses, the auto open quit working. The magnet releases, but the hydraulics or something else keeps it from popping up. Heat Transfer Warehouse won't even respond to my emails.... If it actually worked, it would be a great press, the lower platen is really nice.
In the video what kind of transfer paper did you use?? I want to make some T-shirts and I don't know which type of transfer material too use. Super video and I always enjoy watching you guys

Cheap presses are unpredictable how long they would last you before giving you any issues and have uneven heat.
