Kosh attacking Ulkesh is one of the most jaw dropping moments for me in this show. One Vorlon fighting another. Kosh knew what needed to be done. He and Lorien were the only ones who truly acted as a guardian to the younger races.
It wasn't just Kosh. Kosh represented a faction among the Vorlons that had an affinity for the younger races. That faction just lost sway with the majority.
It is so much fun watching you speculate about the events to come. You are very attentive and in the past you have been remarkably prescient. However, this time you have forgotten something. You will be surprised.
I was thinking - OG Kosk went a little native. We rubbed off on him while the rest were disconnected. He was the only one, apparently, that cared what happend to us and I think that's why he held on by leaving a piece of himself in Sheridan, helped him at Zahadum and used the last of his life to take out Dwayne.
Remember Season 2, Knives? When Sheridan has some energy life form inside him that came from Sector 14, the Temporal Rift? I have always headcanoned that that was a Very young Kosh. And that the understanding Kosh gained there, fed his care for the younger races, and established his affinity for Sheridan in the first place. There is absolutely no evidence for this. But I see nothing to disprove it, either.
@matthewteague623 I always wondered if JMS still hoped when writing that episode that O'Hare would be well enough to return and had intended Sinclair to become unstuck in time during the mission to B4.
@@MrTickleTrunk the way i view it is that the vorlons are all part of the same being. (We are all Kosh) Kosh and Duh-Wayne are just the different emotional states of that being. Sheridan convinced Kosh to deviate from what the Vorlons likely considered a perfect plan, and when the inevitable caught up with him, it left them extremely bitter. Like a parent grudgingly letting their child try it their way only to be mad when it cost them dearly. (Don't hit the ball so close to the house, you're gonna break a window! See, you broke the damn window and now the bugs are getting in, the AC is getting out, and I have to pay for it!)
Delenn used a ring she got from a secret storage area in her quarters and it controlled gravity, which the series has said the Minbari can somewhat control as they have non rotational artificial gravity.

As far as signs that the Vorlons were shifty and might not actually be the good guys, Sinclair became suspicious of the Vorlons' motives when he was around the Vorlon ambassador to Minbar (which I think WAS Ulkesh before he replaced Kosh on B5). Sinclair wanted to warn Garibaldi but knew it would be dangerous to just come right out and say it. So in the message he sent with the Ranger to B5 back in "The Coming of Shadows", the hint was "Stay close to the Vorlon" (ie keep your friends close but your enemies closer).
