Ad an American expat living in Thailand for the past 6 years, I'm so glad to see some wonderful and respectful American tourists visit. Have a great time ! Keep on representing the best America is !
* The meat ball you mentioned is actually made from ground beef mixed with corn starch. * The picture Tia took from the tree is call Jack fruit and it is sweet. * Bua Lot is creamy and very tasty. It is traditional Thai dessert, we are going to make a small pot in Omaha. * In last few episodes, I recommended you guys to have foot massage. Please try it. You won't regret, it is very relaxing specially you guys walk a lot and this massage will help. We are living in the States for almost 30 years and migrated from Thailand, we missed Thai foods.
Ah thanks for the info on all the foods, it’s really helpful 😄 We will definitely try a foot massage somewhere before we leave Thailand. Do you ever miss living in Thailand?
I spent a year in Thailand a long time ago - yes the best people and the best food - some call it the land of smiles , so Tia fits right in ( I think she must have been born with a smile on her face ) . you guys do great work - love love love it ! P.S. you would be missing a LOT if you didn't go to southern Thailand .
Awww the kitties are super sweet!! And Tia was teary because of Thai lady’s kindness when Chev explained the beautiful incident, you make me teary too Tia and Chev. Hug you!! 🥰💕🌈🇹🇭🇹🇭
Hi i'm Thai , i'm happy to see you both travel here. it's like i didn't go there long long time and see you guys travel for me. Thank you. (i'm not good English)
Don't worry about the meatball in Thailand. We don't eat dog meat and it's illegal. Eating dog is like a culture of people in Vietnam, China S.Korea, etc. In S.Korea it's a traditional cuisine and still legal in their country. You shouldn't miss Wat Rong Sua Ten ( Blue Temple) and Doi Tung Tree Top Walk. This is the best time (Nov-Jan) to travel in the north, lower north and northeast part of Thailand. I hope you guys have a great time in Chiang Rai.
We didn’t think it was dog, but maybe testicles! The texture was different than what we’re used to and some restaurants in the United States serve testicles so we weren’t sure 😂
Bualoy is my favorite dessert and Chiang Rai is the city that I love. I usually go on a trip at the end of the year because the weather is cool. If you are a coffee lover and love mountains, I hope you are interested in visiting Ban Pha Hee on the top of the mountain. It's a very beautiful village and it is famous for its coffee. Try it. There are so many places to visit in Chiang Rai especially temples ,nature on the mountains, village on the mountain. Check it.
Bualoy เป็นของหวานที่คนไทยชอบมาก ฉันดีใจที่คุณชอบ ฉันชอบดูวิดีโอของคุณ จะคอยติดตามวิดีโอต่อๆไปของคุณ. It's a dessert that Thai people really love it. I'm glad you like it. I love watching your videos can't wait for the next one. EIEI
@@OnePackWanderers 3:21 It's called Kha-nun or Jackfruit I don't like it because it's smell bad. but I do love Durian. You should try Kha-nun may be you'd like it.
Jackfruits (ripen) @3.20 can be added to many Thai desserts. You can get back to the Bua Loy Shop and ask the owner whether she has jackfruit. Kanoon in Thai though.
Glad you guys popped up on my RUclips feed. Plowed through all your Thailand videos. Can't wait to see more of Thailand through your lens. It's getting my pumped for my trip there in a few months.
There are a lot of dessert in Thailand you can try, some are original and some are adapted or mixed from many different cultures. btw. I love your the behind scenes .
We actually thought maybe the meatballs were testicles because the texture was different than what we’re used to 😅 Some restaurants in America serve them
The weather in Chiang Rai is probably comfortable for westerners. I'm from the south of Thailand. For me it's just the air 20 degrees Celsius I'm already bone-chilling. I've been to Chiang Rai in winter, the temperature at that time was 9 degrees Celsius. The next day, I immediately fled back to the south. I'm a bath lover take a shower twice a day But when faced with such weather, I immediately became terrified of water. hahaha
We have to admit, Chiang Rai was a little cold! Especially on our last day there. We were not expecting that! Thailand has so many different climates, it’s really nice and unexpected 😄
@@OnePackWanderers If you go to the sea or waterfall when it's crystal clear. You have to come from March until September because it's summer. After that it will be the rainy season. It will rain heavily and with a large amount of water, it will cause the water in various tourist attractions to become cloudy. As for winter in Thailand May feel comfortable, but swimming may not be as fun as it should be. Wish you safe travels and have a fun trip.
@@OnePackWanderers At this time, if you have plans to travel to the south, stop and think about it because many provinces are now flooded with heavy rains because of the non-stop rain. And when you are in Chiang Rai, you should try to go to the edge of the Thai-Laos border to take a scenic boat ride between the two countries. You can go to Mae Sai District or Chiang Saen District. That's the top point of the country.
Stunning Thanks for lovely sweet vdo. But i think most of wonderful attraction point of chiangrai is outside the city you should rental motorbike or cars would be more convenient .. and tonight chiangrai has big football match
