You provide more relevant information on the raptor than any other video out there. No one is discussing the jack plate brackets -4” vs 6”. Thanks

Did you have issues with the bolts on mounting bracket? I tried installing mine yesterday and the nuts were really tight and even snapped 2 of the studs

The only time I broke any bolts was when I didn't use the grease in the white tube that comes with the bolts

I was wondering how tall the raptors are from the ground with the boat on the trailer. I have the same boat, and I’m trying to decide between 8 and 10 foot raptors based in part on garage space. Thanks.

Ooooh sorry Ryan, my boat is at the cottage now for the winter...probably being invaded by mice!. I can say this... an 8' Raptor is 4'10" and a 10' Raptor is 5' 10". If you add the length from your engine bolts to the ground you should have your number. Here are a couple of notes on the 10' I use. 1- I asked everyone fishing in the back if they felt they got in the way...answer was no. I fished in the back as well and it wasn't aproblem. 2- to get them in my garage, I extend them a bit to go under the garage door and then bring them back up once in. (best to have a spotter when doing this). 3- I was concerned with the height of the 10'ers when installing, but love them now. I have bottomed them out a few times so 8'ers would be too short for me.

Theoretically speaking, if you had tilt brackets on them, with those brackets and the angle inward of the raptor, would they tilt down and miss the motor or would they hit it? Thanks.

They would most likely miss the motor but that depends on the trim of the motor

One more question. Can I use the 2" setback with 4in rise or the 6in rise with 2in setback. I have a 2012 tracker with 60hp. The hull looks like yours. Thanks alot. Does the rise effect the finished angle it will mount? I would not want it to be at a angle to much. Thanks. Is thehull? Does the rise mean how close it will be to the top of hull?

So the setback is 3" and used mostly for direct to transom mounts to get it away form transom a bit. However it is one solid piece so it could be used with the backplate brackets between the Raptor and bracket but not sure why you would need that. The angle will be pretty much same as trams but depending on bracket's used it could be altered slightly

what's your height measurement when raptors are in the up postion ... ground to top ?
Need to make sure they'll fit in my garage
    Thanks
    Randy

My boat is in the water all summer so I can't measure, but a 10' Raptor is 70" long. If you add a measurement from the floor to the lower bolt on your engine, that would be pretty precise

Hi how thick is your sandwich bracket?
