James and Richard are so cute. x.x I've always liked James as an actor even when I was younger and he was in Cold Feet and I was like...ten. :S I used to read Tolkien's works with my grandfather when I was that age and I never thought I'd be seeing James as Bofur :D Was a very nice surprise hehe.
Thanks for posting! This is one of the best interviews that I've seen! They both were honest and gave good detailed answers! I love them both so much! Richard was tremendous as Thorin, but I also loved James Nesbitt as Brofur! He made me laugh so many times during the first two movies! Loved the expressions on his face particularly when Kili was flirting with the elf maid playing the harp, so funny. Also loved his singing and dancing!
Jimmy's right about the "act of faith" with regards to signing on to a project that wasn't even 100% green-lit at that point. Richard had a guaranteed job with Strike Back, but gave that up on a roll of the dice to play Thorin.

quite a few of the dwarf cast have brought up falling-outs and "some getting on more than others", in several different interviews.. i'm lead to believe the shit SERIOUSLY hit the fan at some point, or that they're not all as friendly with eachother as they're acting... lol
