LOL. I thought Christina wrote this. I'm not sure how I feel about that revelation...this was the one song that made me have mad respect for Christina. Well, her version is fantastic of course. But, as a folky-guy myself, I like this one much better. And, now I've discovered another musician. Can't wait to check out more. Love it Linda!

Beautiful. However, it is not really telling me much about the guitar. She is playing the same few notes over and over again and it is barely audible.
It’s not about the guitar. It’s a performance of a song she wrote. Also she talks about the guitar in another video
@@gabrielobrien21 It is all about the guitar. Have you not realize this is a Taylor sponsored video? Taylor could care less about her singing. They want them to show off the capabilities of this guitar in the playing. And with this performance she could be playing any guitar as it is not really doing anything to show off the guitar sound. The purpose of this video is to show off the sound. I'm not talking about another video where she talks about the specs I'm talking about THIS video were all she does is play the same couple of notes over again. Like I said she could have been playing any guitar for this song. Not really showing me much of the guitar. Also I don't see any video where she talks about the guitar.
@@SourStrawberrys it’s not “Taylor sponsored”, it’s their video. The Acoustic Sessions as a series is about songwriters performing their songs. There are lots of videos “showing the capabilities of the guitar.” This is showing how this songwriter uses it to make something awesome. That’s the point of the whole series.
@@gabrielobrien21 This is a sponsered performance video. Do you think Taylor is not paying for this performance? They more than likely even gave her the guitar as well. I know there is a lot of videos showing the capabilities of this guitar. But THIS particular video is not doing much to show of the guitar itself. Linda Perry is a good song writer but her guitars skills is underwelming. I'm hearing more of her voice than the guitar itself. And like I said, taylor only cares about selling their guitars. If she wasn't Linda Perry and thus was some random artist, this performance wouldn't fly. They are trying to sell it on it on the fact that it Perry playing it alone, and she is playing one of her hits. This video would make me buy the song, but not the guitar; I am not hearing much of it.
@@SourStrawberrys all guitar companies give guitars to artists. It’s not “sponsored” it’s their video on their channel. They set up in a hotel suite at NAMM and invite artists to stop by and perform. It’s not a paid thing. I can say with 100% certainty Taylor never pays artists.
