Hello, it's Chelsea. My sister Grace (13 years old) and I are demoing a couple of wonderful Taylor Guitars! Grace is playing the Taylor T5-C1 and I am playing the Taylor T3/B. The song we chose to demo the guitars on is by one of our favorite artist, Mr. Mark Knopfler. The song is "Sultans Of Swing"...hope you enjoy!

The sheer skill of these sisters is awesome. At the end, the smile on Grace's face just says, 'Yep, we sure nailed it'. I would love to buy an album of their recordings, but sadly I don't think any are available. Maybe some day..........

A beautiful, well played, heartfelt, rendition of one of my favorite Dire songs, very nice and put me in a nice peaceful frame of mind, love ya'll, ya ya i know its an old vid, suck it up, music of this quality is timeless imho.
Edit~ and seriously, wtf is wrong with people they gotta hate on folks that are playing music? I don't get this. If you don't like the song, then don't listen. If you don't like the people playing, then go away. If you are jealous some real people actually went and practiced some stuff you are incapable of, some magic, you don't deserve any instrument 'cept the one you was born with, disappear.

Great. Both women are great and I especially like Mom's slightly over the top vibrato which she does with the string already stretched a little which gives a slightly different sound.

That's what my grandmother said in 1964 when we watched the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan show. ( She assumed that they were wearing wigs!) It happens with every generation. I swore I would never cop this attitude when I got "old". I'm now 68 and have been a musician since I was a pre teen. Do I like all of the contemporary music being made? No, but I respect your right to play and listen to whatever you deem to be your favorite genre of music.

my mother said id be wasting my time just like my father had,,that was 1975 age11 when i started a beatles band with twisted hands that didant open ,,,,not only did i open my left hand,played 100+ gigs supported the rocky horror uk tour 1984,,,but i taurt 2 that became national champions and two that became music teachers,,and with my daughter and her daughter,thats 4 generations playing guitar and song writing,,,if thats wasting time at least it sounds nice

I would love to hear Marks reaction to this cover, he has admittted on more than one occasion, that he doesn't like playing the song anymore and only does it every now and then. This is a fresh look on it, however! Thank you ladies, you put a big smile on my face. And believe me, I'm a critical listener, who has heard dozens of versions of this song and played the originals madly... ;)
