I'd never heard this song until Huw Stephens played it on 6Music a couple of days ago. It has already become one of my favourite festive tunes. As a chap in his fifties I reckon pretty much everything was better in the eighties!
I return to this song every year even when it's barely December, because this is the first song I think of when Christmas time approaches and cause it's such an addicting song. It makes me remember that in life, you - yourself is the only person in life that you should rely on to make you happy. (Unless you have a wife/kids etc.) 7 years on and counting! The more things change, the more they stay the same. Happy holidays, everyone!

@Evie2607 Problem this year is that there are tonnes of different campaigns this year so it probs wont work. Some are trying to do "the bird is the word" others "The Pogues - Fairtale in Newyork" so it will be hard this year. Which is a shame as I love this track and it really deserves to be seen as better than horrible horrible x factor.
Christmas was much better when I spent nothing and got a bunch of cool gifts, instead of now where I spend all of my money and only get a tie I wouldn't be caught dead wearing.
