fun (??) fact: my husband was struck by lightening when he was 2 years old while he was camping. His Dad STOLE a car to drive him to the hospital because the Mom was at the store in their car and he knew he didn't have time to wait for an ambulance because my hubby was unconscious (and they were camping and no quick access to a phone because this was before cell phones). The lightening struck the tree next to where he was standing and came up through the ground and got him. He still has burn scars on his arms from it, but he is fine. Crazy, right??
That is insane!! So glad he was okay, props to his dad for acting fast!! Wow⚡️⚡️⚡️

Aww man. When baking, it’s super important to stick to the recipe, so things don’t turn out. Unlike, regular cooking where you can add more or less, that extra pumpkin you added is probably why the bread was still uncooked.
Hey Rachel, the measurements on the butter is correct. The (one) left arrow is the start and the right arrow is the end point. So wherever you cut the right arrow, the measurement quoted is the amount of butter you are cutting. So if you cut the line by the 1/4 cup, from the left to that line is 1/4 cup. Since the 1/2 cup arrow was at the next end of the stick, it is basically saying the whole stick of butter is 1/2 cup. Hope I explained that properly lol love you!

The reason your pumpkin bread is dry, is because you aren't meant to eyeball ingredients....that's what recipes, measuring cups and measuring spoons are for.

I have bought the wrong dog food before and I didn’t know what to do with it. Check out your local animal shelters and see if they’ll take it
You mention your kitty vomiting quite often! :( They’re not supposed to barf more than once a week, or even consistently over a few weeks! Look into getting hills brand ID prescription wet food from the vet it helps their belly’s! Also, if their belly is sensitive it can be due to fish which I noticed that bag of food was! I only say this because I went through this with my fur baby!
As another commenter said- please consider donating the dog food to the shelter. I’m sure that if you explained the situation they would be glad to take it off of your hands.

All fruits and veggies have seasons. They are not supposed to grow or to be eaten all year round. Nature gives us berries and high water fruits and veggies in the summer (tomatoes, cucumbers, watermelon, etc.) because we need to stay hydrated and need more antioxydants. Then, our body needs more starchy, rich vegetables in the winter to fight the cold temperatures. That's when veggies like potatoes, cabbage and squash are thriving. Nowadays, everything is sold 365 days a year at the grocery stores because we import and mass produce most of our produce unfortunately. We have completely lost touch with the seasons and what our bodies need. Pumpkins only grow during the summer and are harvested at fall. Thats why fall is pumpkin season :) If you find a pumpkin or a squash in the spring, it most likely comes from the other side of the world.

My mom had her hand on a metal chain length fence when lightning struck the yard, she was shocked but not technically struck by the lightning and the joke was that they thought my sister was a boy prior to this incident, the lightning struck her “manhood” thus creating my sister (the tomboy) 🤣🤣
