The way you stuffed half of the costume in the thigh plate was absolutely eye opening! If I knew this... well I wouldn't have needed such a big storage box XD
you could add a strap system to the box lid that can come of when ever you need it to , you can get motorcycle rucksacks that have helmet nets on the back to carry a spare ect, could be handy for you
really nice insight into Packing Armor. I remember your old Container Paint job Video. have you stopped using it all together? Have or Would you ever do a video on Upkeep & Care of your Armor? looking at things such as caring for breakages & cracking? as always, a crackin' Video
You should look into welding helmet backpacks, they have padding, pockets etc and keep your stuff protected. (I have a expensive welding hood and have picked up a pack for it)
All those 501st out there, I've been wanting to build a suit for forever so I am going to ask my top 3 important questions: 1) how do i get patches, 2) I know stormtroopers and officers, etc. are the most needed, but would clone troopers work? Or a stormtroopers that isn't the regular tk? 3) is eva foam acceptable? Because I know that the costumes have to be accurate as possible and inspected to be made applicable for use, but I dont have any money to buy resin kits or something else
Donald Newhauser im not 501st but can help. People make patches in the legion for members to buy/trade. If you’re looking to start a patch collection though you can find a bunch of patches available online. Clone troopers are accepted into the 501st. Custom characters are not, has to me a pre existing character/variation. No eva foam is not accepted. You would need a screen accurate vaccum formed kit.
